They may have over seeded them on purpose and balanced it out by giving them a tough first day pool. Spri runbird just won the overall Palos points series as a 2s team. Having watched them play I have no doubts they are better than the 40th best team.

Anyone know what's going on with Coastal's 17's team? Gabriel Irizarry the top setter at High performance at the 16's level last year is listed on the roster but is not traveling and not on the Roster for SCVA.

There are two Brothers Eli Emmanuel and Eli Gabriel. Manny is on the Coastal B18 Navy team and Gabe is on the B17 Navy team. Both are going to the SCVA tournament. Gabe was the setter for the 15s team at the international level. I have noticed though that there are several players names that are missing from the rosters on AES. Dylan Missry from LIVBC 17 Nation is not listed either.

Interesting seedings. Looks like 18s got placed by their finishing order at the Holiday Classic, while 17s got placed according to their current point totals without taking into account of their finishing order at the Holiday Classic.

So what highest one seeds in the first round pools have the greatest chance of being upset in the first round? Or do all of the highest seeds seem safe into the second round to hold their spots?

Does anyone have predictions on the 16's division?
It seems like there is more good teams than bids, so no matter how it turns out there will be good teams going home bidless.
SPVB seems to have been seeded way too low at #18.

Seeing as there will be 10 bids given out i think the majority of good teams going will recieve a bid.

With the Invitational less than a week away, who are some of the 17s players who are going to be getting the attention of college coaches? Any 18s players left out there that coaches are going to be looking at?

Having watched them play I have no doubts they are better than the 40th best team. Runbird (spvb 2s) is just as good as their top team. They made two even teams. SCVA needs to look into these things more. Runbird could very well take the top seed in their pool if they're playing well.
