One of these is not like the others... Wisconsin is a very respectable program with a great fan base, but they aren't a powerhouse - not yet at least. Hey! What are you saying?!?!? Okay, fake outrage over, I agree with you, but at least Wisconsin has actually beaten those three programs within the last two seasons. I honestly don't know where Wisconsin stands overall. I think they were in the second tier nationally, the one below the very top programs, before 2008, but it is hard to place a program that goes from that to missing the NCAA tournament for five years. Of course, while Illinois got back from a bad stretch to reach the national title match, few teams have had a rise as meteoric as Wisconsin from where they were over the last two seasons. This season will be interesting in seeing where the program stands, but I really have no feel for it at this point.

Only 1 of the 4 traditional powers will be mentioned in top 30 or even honorable mentions. All have 1 Senior Ace in the 2015 class except Penn State but they have 2 impressive international (well... Canada,PR). Can the #1 recruit and a FirstTeam DD DS and a 100-250 setter get you into the Top 10 over 2 International players and a 100-250 Libero? Stanford PennState Washington Florida Washington and Florida are traditional powers? That's news to me. Well, Washington has won a national championship and consistently battles for top two or three in the PAC 10, the arguably strongest conference over time.

I really like the Wisconsin program, but I do think there are at least a few more seasons to go before placing them among the others. As far as Florida goes, with the current talent and future talent coming in a couple seasons, this could be Mary's best few years for a chance to get back to the final four and hopefully a national championship.

Well, JT does ask the folks he polls on this to consider the potential for 4-year impact. If Poulter really is the goods, then it makes some sense.
Kentucky can thank the Wisconsin admissions office for their place in the top 10.

Wow kinda of suprised with Illinois being named number one. I knew Poulter was going to do good things for Illinois, but wasnt sure if their other recruits would of been noticed that much. Who is 2nd and 3rd?

I was expecting Texas to take the #1 spot with Bedhart-Ghani, White and Johnson.
Oregon's class will keep them in contention for the Pac12 crown for many years to come. Thats a lot of talent. Congrats to JMoore.
And I was not expecting on Stanford. Maybe around 10-15 but not in the Top 10. I guess having McKenna, Chang, Bowen and even Froistad with Hodson in the helm helped a lot to have this rank.
