Wow kinda of suprised with Illinois being named number one. I knew Poulter was going to do good things for Illinois, but wasnt sure if their other recruits would of been noticed that much. Who is 2nd and 3rd? texas and wisconsin Dude, that was uncool (unless you can link an article). Wait until the articles come out. Prep is a paid site.

This is like holding an Oscar ceremony but embargoing press coverage because it might hurt attendance or ratings. Either this is a big deal (and VT can talk about it) or it's not. So which is it?
I do know there's a fine line here, but listing the top two programs?? Not sure that crosses it.

Close, and let me take the liberty to correct: Poulter is a God

I was expecting Texas to take the #1 spot with Bedhart-Ghani, White and Johnson. Oregon's class will keep them in contention for the Pac12 crown for many years to come. Thats a lot of talent. Congrats to JMoore. And I was not expecting on Stanford. Maybe around 10-15 but not in the Top 10. I guess having McKenna, Chang, Bowen and even Froistad with Hodson in the helm helped a lot to have this rank. They may have factored in coaching ... oh wait, I should not have said that.

Also, pleasantly surprised to see Cal with a Top Ten class.

Baylor at #17. That's around 5 Top 20 classes in the last several years. The team was ranked as high at #17 in 2009 and top 25 in 2011 but the injuries in 2013 and 2014 really hurt the progress of this program. I counted 5 ACL injuries and a heart issue in that 2 year span that ended the career of 3 or 4 of those starters. Adding this class should help them get on track if they avoid even more injuries. Adding Malloy and getting her a year adjusted will help a lot to.

FYI, 1-30 are listed at the end of the Illinois news release so listing two and three on VT is probably OK. www.fightingillini.com/sports/w-volley/spec-rel/052815aab.html

Kevin Hambly says Poulter is the main reason they were picked #1, and I'm not surprised. I think when she comes in I'd rank her top three in the NCAA.

I guess the list is okay according to the letter of the law because the copyright message says "in full."

However, it seems to me that listing the schools violates the spirit of the law, which is that PV is a paid site, so if you want to see everything compiled, you need to subscribe.

Excited about Pepperdine's recruiting class. Hoping it'll be a better season now with these newcomers.

Washington State in the top 30, but not U of Washington? You don't see that every(day/year/decade).

Tawa has been adamant that his Senior Aces player rankings are based on potential in college. But, he seems to talk in circles when stating that Beth Prince was rated low because of injury. Makes no sense if her ranking is supposed to be on potential in college (which should discount injuries).
Not a big deal, but a class comprised of players ranked #4, 5 & 11 versus a recruiting class made up of #3, 10, and 52 must not be weighed as I would expect.
If he's assessing which school did the best at filling critical needs, then that is a different factor. Not sure that's what he's done in the past.

If you are injured a lot, there is a legitimate claim to be made that you might never fulfill your potential.
