Jordan Larson! I love watching her play! She's s crazy defensive player and attacker. So smart! Christa Dietzen! I love watching her attack she has some of the sickest slide attacks ever!! Also Destinee Hooker and Sheilla Castro! Don't you mean Megan Hodge? Yeah her too!

Tom Selleck, of course. Then, comes Wilt Chamberlain followed by C. Thomas Howell (Sideout), Peter Horton (Sideout), Val Kilmer (Top Gun), and last but not least, Tom Cruise (for playing beach volleyball in jeans in Top Gun). I have a picture with Tom. It's right after a match and he has his arm around me, sweating all over me. Excuse me, need to take a cold shower.

Misty May - Led her high school, Newport Harbor to the California state championship., LBS to the national title, I heard she was good in sand also! Logan Tom - so small for such a dynamic hitter. Great defensive player. Kayla Neto - led CSUF to the Big West title. Now plays in Europe. Amy Hayes - Led my 7th and 8th grade teams to district titles (Got an A in my Algebra and Geometry classes), played great at Canyon High in Anaheim, CA. Then started 4 years at Stanford on the right side. Flo Hyman - Flo helped my 8th grade teams each Sunday at the national training center. Amy Hayes and Flo became friends and Amy rode to her first club event with Flo. Flo was putting on a clinic for a number of clubs and it was the first time club coaches had ever seen Amy. She came into the gym with Flo and by the end of the clinic every club coach was trying to get Amy on their team. If some of you knew Flo, you know what a nice person she was!

Great thread.
I remember growing up, one of my favorite players was always Tracy Stalls. She was so efficient, and is still probably one of the best MB's that went to Nebraska. And of course, her hair!! Love it!

Kanani Danielson Alyssa D'erricoBryn Kehoe Heather Kisner Nellie Spicer YES!!!!!!!!!!! D'Errico and Kisner were such studs in the back row. Kisner dug so many monster swings from Hodge in the 2009 title match and was the unsung hero on that stud team. She was rock sold all 4 years. D'Errico was a flat out baller. Her jump serve was consistent and lethal, great passer and exceptional defender. Her numbers weren't that great because Penn State blocked everything, but she was an animal in the back row and played great defense. I thought she was a better passer and defender than Holehouse in 2008. That said, Penn State didn't exactly struggle with Holehouse at libero that year..

Started watching in earnest in MN awhile back. Lauren Gibbemeyer has a fire not too many have.

Misty May (her senior year) - if that team could pass her the ball, she could isolate her hitters. I also loved that when she dug the ball, she would most likely be the one to get set.
When I first started watching (international) volleyball, I loved the brute force of Cuban middle Magaly Carvajal. This woman just owned the middle -- roofing people, and hitting variations of middle sets (quicks, mid tempo and high balls). She was just brutal and lethal ... loved it!
My next favorite international player of all time would have to be Sokolova. She was one of those who could just hit any kind of set - sets on the left side, right side, backrow, quicks, slides, etc.
