Well, duh. My favorite VB player of all time is my daughter, Madeline Kuber! Graduating in four years, two knee surgeries during her career - one for a total blowout, rehabbed back for the next season both times, and Academic All Conference all three years possible. gopoly.com/sports/wvball/2015-16/bios/kuber_maddie_0wr7My next two favorites are her teammates Hannah Schleiss and Nicole Kessler. All three seniors have grown and developed into outstanding young women. They are my all time favorites!

Going way back... Flo Hyman 8' Net, front row hitter in Co-Ed, no problem, world's best at the time. Recently, Micah Hancock, just wow ( why isn't she setting for the national team? )

I mean she can put dents on the floor. My all-time favorite Bruin along with Daiva Tomkus!!!

I like Nana Meriwether but she is not my all time favorite player. Dont get me wrong, she was a fantastic player and taught me so much about second chances. When second chances are offered to you, grab it and make the most out of it. If things do not work out, find an alternative and work things out.
1)She wanted to be a Bruin but AB did not have a scholarship for her in 2003 and her dad wanted her to go to Duke. She transferred to UCLA in 2004 and had a record setting career. She is the first and only player to lead the NCAA in hitting percentage and block per game.
2)She competed numerous times for Miss USA California. She came close but could not win the state title so that she can compete for Miss USA. In her last year of eligibility (27 years old), she competed for Miss USA Maryland, won and competed for Miss USA
3)She was first runner up at the 2012 Miss USA pageant. She was crowned Miss USA when the original winner won Miss USA. I am sure she prayed very hard for that haha. She is the queen of second chances

She is the queen of second chances I know this is a bit off topic, but this does not make sense...she was runner up and eventually became Miss USA when the winner won Miss USA? Am I the only one that is not getting what this says?

Being fairly new to college V-ball (~4 years), my memories do not extend very far back. So for me, it is without a doubt Lauren Carlini. The confidence, the fire and intensity and the amount of skill she has without appearing to even try is absolutely amazing. I also hear a lot of little girls saying that they want to be like Lauren when they get older. So in addition to her skills, she is also an ambassador to the a new generation of players (at least in Wisconsin) The thread asked for a player, not a god. Fact. I absolutely love Carlini, especially because she reminds me so much of my friend who sets at Hawaii Pacific. Golden hands!

Recently, Micah Hancock, just wow ( why isn't she setting for the national team? ) Hancock just isn't a world-class setter. She's very good her size is an issue. She's a competitor so never count her out but I'd be really surprised to see Hancock play much in a major world competition (Olympics, World Cup, World Championship).
