Reading the last few pages of this thread, I can't tell if Texas just lost or if Texas has the best lineup in the history of volleyball.

Here are some highlights. Nelson looks absolutely beat! Poor Dodd looks like she got blocked out from the huddle by all the big people.

Anyone notice, at the end of the match before the last serve, Ebony tell Chloe not to set her after she hit a ball out? The camera was zoomed in on her and you can see her tell her setter that she didn't want the ball. Great players want the ball at the end of matches! I saw it, but thought she was saying where to put the ball, not don't set me. That is dissapointing if actually said.

they are probably drinking at a bar now? vbprisoner must be on a real bender....hasnt checked in yet! Wiswell, I actually was at a pub for pre-game and that made it more enjoyable! LOL OK, have been on the road for work since Wednesday and got back from match late last night and wanted to watch match again on LHN today to confirm my live thoughts before posting. (also took a road trip to watch TAMU and Badgers) 1. Carlini is a joy to watch (even when she serves like crap for the match) because she just makes her hitters better. The difference in this match is Carlini gave her hitters a chance on 90% of her sets and had some incredibly accurate long cross court sets. I am glad I drove the extra miles to watch both matches. 2. Texas should have won in 3 but at 21-19 with UT up Collins had a couple sets that were so tight at the net and with the double block in place Nwanebu had to reach just to tip it over and then Wisconsin easily set for a kill, and then same thing with White and they let match slide away. 3. Nwanebu hits the ball harder than her Freshman year, and when she gets good sets about 2 feet off net it does not matter if double block is there she can power it through a seam, hit over the block, or tool the block. 4. White is getting better with each match with hitting, but needs to not always try to power the ball through the block. She is OK in back row, but has gotten better in each match she has played back row. By end of season she will be a force, and will be ready to dominate come tourney time. 5. I was very disappointed with the play of McCoy on serve receive, defense, and communication in the back row. Several lost points were just communication issues that are the responsibility of the libero for calling the ball. 6. PPC played great against TAMU, but struggled against Wisconsin. When she was set with a good ball she finished, but could not deal with the questionable sets. 7. Middles for Texas are getting a little better each match, but they sure would be a different team with Chi as MB1!!!!!!!!! 8. Very disappointed that YBG was not played more since PPC was struggling. 9. Haggerty is a stud for a Freshman, and I liked that she mixed in roll shots and some different angles when face big blocks. Smart, and solid back row player. She will be fun to follow for 3 1/2 more years. 10. T Williams surprised me and I thought she was the best MB for either team in the match (Chi not playing). She just quietly takes care of business and was very efficient. Great athlete that glides effortlessly and makes plays. 11. I thought both teams struggle to play good defense for more than 4-5 points at a time, but then there were some heavy hitting on both sides and most teams would look sloppy playing against these two teams. Overall I was disappointed Texas lost, but it was a heavyweight fight and it is still early. If Carlini was on Texas............SMH Adding Gillis to the Wisconsin lineup will make them even better and more dangerous. For Texas each match the MBs are gaining experience and should be ready come tourny time. I did talk with a couple Wisconsin fans that were very nice.......don't think it was sportybucky! LMAO

She always seems to me to be as you said...just taking care of business when she gets the call. I like her a lot for that.

I absolutely love Tionna. I remember those first few weeks when she couldn't win a joust at the net. Man, has she grown up quick. I wouldn't trade her for anyone right now.

And called Carlini's position "senior server"... yikes... the XXX next to the ranked team comment about the Pac-12 is precious. What a clown show.
