I'll take Stanford. Repeating in Volleyball is not unprecedented unheard of.

Stanford has to be the favorites for the next 2-3 years at least as they are so strong in all positions, I did not feel coming into this year that they would get to the final four but felt they would be the favorites from 2017 through 2019 at least. Losing Inky is going to hurt a lot, she is not somebody you just replace and will be the big question. Fitzmorris does very well but who is going to be the other middle will most likely be the deciding factor.
Isn't this the third thread now on if Stanford is going to win it all next year? Giving PSU a run for their money on number of threads created to ask the same question

Lutz is an AA middle. I want her back there. Vanjak is a decent blocker and might hold down the right side quite nicely. Plummer and hodson go left. That's a team that gets it done.

Stanford may not even be the favorite next year to win the title, though they will almost certainly be one of the top 3-4. They will be very good next year, but losing Inky will create a multitude of problems.

There are only a few teams who can compete on paper, without the addition of solid freshman or transfers. Stanford, Texas top the list then followed by Penn State, Nebraksa, Washington and a few more. But that means nothing, injuries, roster players improving, roster players regressing, coaching problems, bad apples, tons of stuff can happen.

I rep Stanford and I'm taking the field. There's way too many variables for 1 team to be the favorite over all the other D1 programs combined. Mathematically, you always take the field.
Stanford is one Jenna Gray rolled ankle away from being on an extremely precarious situation.

Stanford is the heavy favorite and I can easily see a repeat, but the field is always a good bet (see: Nebraska this year).

Well, not Hawaii. They lose all their big guns. Only the small guns are left.

I like ponds as long as they are not full of leaches and biting insects. Also need a good inflow and outflow or they get pretty rank by the end of summer. Right now all of our ponds are frozen over so we can't do anything with them. Actually now that I think about it a river is preferential - that is unless you can have an ocean, always pick an ocean if you have the option As long as it's a warm ocean, not cold. And blue, blue is always helpful. But where is the pond in this thread?
