Dixon will be back as well - she's been in the gym all spring. I hope Robinson sticks at it and ups her hitting game. She's already a solid passer. For sure we see Kadie Rolfzen in there early, and maybe Sarah Wilhite as well. Ah yes, I forgot about Dixon. I'm not sure the Rolfzen's are NT material. IDK about the final cut, but it would seem silly NOT to have Kadie in the gym for evaluation in the beginning if she wants to be there.

Adams, Inky & Dixon will probably be the middles this year... Who knows what Foluke will decide to do. Hill and Robinson will likely continue to play, both young enough. It would be great to see Megan Easy get back in there. Larson can easily play another quad if she wants. Like others have said, I don't see any future outsides right now... obviously Hill was a surprise, so who is the next Kim Hill? Will she please stand up? Murphy and Lowe seem like the only thing we've got unless, Hooker makes a comeback. Carlini and Lloyd seem like the path forward at this point. I think the majority of the Olympians will take 2017 off, even if they're not done.

I do think Kadie will get a look, but I do not see her or Amber as part of the NT.

Speaking of Larson, you can watch her play right now (Eczacibasi vs Fenerbache) on youtube It's a pretty close game!!

Anyone heard anything about Taylor Simpson? I thought I read that Karch told her to wait until this quad for a shot

So, how many on the 2013 NT roster were still around for the 2016 roster? How many from 2012 took 2013 off?

In 2013, there were upwards of 30 athletes in the gym ..and you really only had 6 of the 12 Olympians appear in some form - Larson, Miyashiro, Thompson, Harmotto, Davis, and Scott. Larson skipped the Grand Prix; however, and Harmotto did not come until later in the summer. Miyashiro and Thompson had not made too many travel rosters in the previous quad, and Scott and Davis were on the way out.
Non-Olympians making rosters were: Glass/Hagglund, Fawcett/Murphy/Faucette, Gibbemeyer/Adams/Paolini/Jackson, Hildebrand/Hodge/Hill/Lichtman/Hood, and Banwarth. Of those 14, 5 eventually made the Olympics. Some predictable (Glass) and some out of nowhere (Hill). It's easy to forget that at the time Hildebrand was at the top of the OH chart with Hodge, but neither made it.
Others in the gym but not making rosters were Lloyd (Olympian) but also Klineman, Jessy Jones, Arielle Wilson, Erica Wilson, Kristen Dozier, Alaina Bergsma, Leslie Cikra, Caitlin Donahue, Deeshing, Lauren Cook, Klefot.
I guess the question is, does Karch feel comfortable enough with his knowledge of the current talent pool to only call in recent grads, or is he going to keep the big tent approach.

I see more talent in college than some of the top recent grads outside of JWO, Carlini and Inky. Alhassan has not been mentioned. But man, ohh man... we are so thin at outside. We always have this problem.

Has Klineman become a better passer? I know she's put up big numbers on the left side in Brazil this year. Thoughts on her chances this quad on the left?

To answer your question, no. She attacked on the left but the Opposite (Monique) was passing in serve-receive for her.

Larson can certainly still play, but the bigger question is by the time Tokyo rolls around, can she still be at the top of her game? Hill I agree is still young enough to make it to Tokyo, barring any major injuries or unforseen drop in performance. As for Hooker, I don't know man. Unless Karch changes his mind or is out of options, I don't see her putting on the NT uniform again (of course, anything can happen in the future...). Personally, I would not read too much into the roster or performance of the US team this season, whether they are doing well or not. The year after the Olympics is traditionally a quiet year without the major tournaments like World Championships or World Cup. Most major NTs will take this season to rebuild their teams rather than go all out to win (of course, they certainly won't mind winning, but just don't read too much into the results).

The very loud, very fiery Daymi Ramirez passed while hitting from the right for Klineman's team.

Actually sneaky Monique is the oppo. But your point is correct.
