I don't follow beach that much, who are the teams to watch (other than Hughes and Claes, that I take to be prohibitive favorites?)

I know the finals will be televised, but is there a bracket or anything that will be updated as the matches progress?

I don't follow beach that much, who are the teams to watch (other than Hughes and Claes, that I take to be prohibitive favorites?) Outside of the top programs (USC, Pepp, UCLA, FSU), keep an eye on Knudesn/Rund (St. Mary's), Sponcil/Slattery (LMU), Jones/Scambray (Washington). Knudsen/Rund beat Claes Hughes earlier this season.

Results to far:
#1 Claes/Hughes (USC) defeat #24 Hubbard/Sonny (Cal Poly) 2-0 (21-15, 21-17) #23 Neal/Greene (TCU) defeat #2 Rice/Kinlaw (FAU) 2-1 (21-18, 16-21, 13-15) #13 Tan/Anderson (UCLA) defeat #12 Knudsen/Rund (SMC) (20-22, 21-12, 13-15)
I'll try to keep updating as I see anything.

And as soon as I talk up St. Mary's, they lose in three to UCLA's #4 pair.

Yeah, good question. USC's #5 pair is seeded ahead of their #4 pair, at 8 and 10 respectively. Seems too high to me.

Anyone know why Benesh/Orenic aren't playing?

Vague, non-criteria based qualification and seeding which combines 4 different methods: NCAA team finish NCAA pairs results USAV ranking Wild-cards Hilarious. Really was more of a "who do you know" and "will they accept invitation" type of affair. The selection committee was huge. 12-15 people, only half of which had a real clue.

Ugh! USC ladies may be exhausted. Several teams seem to be struggling based on results so far.

Sponcil sighting. Wierd that she is allowed to participate in this even though she redshirted this year and is also transferring to UCLA. Obviously doesn't affect their eligibility.
