blue, would you be able to run this simulation as of the 24th? that's the first day the committee meets and will likely be making a lot of decisions based off of it. No biggie if it's too much work or if you just don't want to Matches thru the 23rd - obviously not including any conference tournaments that would have been completed before then. They hosted in 2006 or 2007 I remember that. They hosted on Friday-Saturday, and Stanford hosted Saturday-Sunday. I drove down to SLO to watch the two matches there and then drove back the next morning to catch the first and second round in the Bay Area.

Does the CPU gym meet hosting requirements? I assume it probably does, but just curious. They hosted in 2006 or 2007 Cal Poly website says the capacity is 3,032. What's the requirement to host a sub-regional? I researched this last year and don't believe there is a capacity requirement for hosting Rounds 1 & 2. IIRC the requirement for hosting a Regional is a seating capacity of 3,000. I should have some time tomorrow to look for the links to the relevant NCAA documents.

There is (or at least was) a requirement to use an in-floor net system, but I hope most any D1 school has that. Or at least, any one that might end up seeded. I wonder if there will be a requirement to have replay available?

Cal Poly website says the capacity is 3,032. What's the requirement to host a sub-regional? I believe the requirement is either 1000 or 1250. Kansas has hosted the last two years with 1300 - they changed this two years ago. Also they have the requirement (I believe) to have the gym available for 3 consecutive days and access to 4 locker rooms. I am sure there are others - but those are now the biggest two I can think of since capacity is not much of an issue anymore.
The following quote is from pages 37 & 38 of the NCAA Host Operations Manual: The phrase "hosts must be able to meet all the seating requirements" might be confusing when placed right after a statement that there are no seating requirements. However, this is a reference to the requirement that host institutions must provide blocks of tickets to each participating school in specified locations within the venue. See Section 21 (Tickets) on pages 76-79 of the following document: www.ncaa.org/sites/default/files/2017DIWVB_Host_Operations_Manual_20171016.pdfAdditional site selection criteria can be found on pages 17-19 of the Pre-Championship Manual at the following link: www.ncaa.org/sites/default/files/2017DIWVB_MANPreChamp_20170915.pdf
