She looked decent when she played, but the other middle got a lot more playing time. I think it was Leyla Blackwell? She played RS. They played together. Not a lot though. She didn't even play in one of the sets in the morning match.

Not a lot though. She didn't even play in one of the sets in the morning match. Everyone rested players when they could. It is a long, really high level, exhausting tournament. Depends on the players. I think Endsley played every point of the day. You could tell she was gassed by the last match but they never pulled her.

17s play has been very impressive, IMO. TAV 17 Black always puts together a great team. Shannon Shields really showing what she’s made of. She’s great. Stivrins and Hoff from AZ Storm are also really good. Anna McDonald is a baller at libero for A5. TAV vs AZ Storm should be the championship. Skyler Fields hits the ball so hard. Such a physical player
18’s... haven’t caught much of it but.... Melanie Shaffmaster keeps developing into an awesome setter. Pretty good attacker too. Capri Davis is going to be great for the Husker.. jumps so so high. Hitting around her an O’neal is a tough task. Brooke Nuneviller... an absolute baller. I think she’ll definitely make a big impact for the Ducks, and it will probably be at OH. Plays the whole game so dang well.

TAV vs AZ Storm should be the championship. Hmm. I would guess Sunshine would disagree with you on that, as they haven't lost a match yet, including wins over: TAV Houston Juniors Texas Image Summit Nitro Gotta win if you want to be in the Championship.

yes, just watched the 2nd set of the match against Mizuno. While I'm SHOCKED that a team that has Starr Williams, the younger Iosia, and Miner didn't win a set in pool play, I'm not shocked that Coast worked them. Attention is usually on Endsley, and she is good, but that's just a high quality 16's team, very well rounded, decent setting in transition for a 16's team too. Fingers crossed for a Coast/TAV showdown in what I think would be the semi's? TAV black has athletes for DAYS!!!! both Smiths, Ndaiye, Williams...lord Jesus. they just need to find a better back row and this team would be unstoppable. Now, to which Texas team at the next level have I heard that before . OT handled TAV 16 Black 2-0 in the quarters in what easily could have been the final. Next up OT plays Coast in the semis in what also could have been the final. One of the whacky effects of power pools, the top 3 seeds are on the same side of the bracket Great match and win for OT. Hate that the bracket got stacked up like it did.

One of the whacky effects of power pools, the top 3 seeds are on the same side of the bracket TAV would’ve been on the opposite side of the bracket except they got swept by Legacy.

Munciana and Idaho have a similar point ratio, but it'll be difficult to pick against Munciana to take the title. That Samurai squad is so good in every facet of the game. Samurai's combination of physicality and ball control is impressive, but Aspire took them to 17-15 in the third in Pool Play, so the semi should be a really good match. According to this article Aspire doesn’t even have its full team here (2 starters out), which makes that 15-17 against Munciana look even more impressive: www.triplecrownvolleyball.com/news/weary-roster-not-enough-to-grind-down-aspire-18-roxWill be interested to see how the rematch goes

Legacy takes Set 1 25-18, pretty easily. All 3 pins (Malinowski, Mallon, Thomas) with some awesome line kills. Duff had 4 blocks. Parker looks good for Muncie and their middles get up quick.
26-24 Muncie takes Set 2. Legacy was up by 6 or 7 but Murr went on a service run and Parker just kind of took over.
