15-13 Muncie takes it. Just too much Parker.

Definitely helped that Munci took Miller out in the front row, and put in the junior outside.

Nothing against Miller who, IMO, was Munciana’s best player last year when she was at L (Nebraska fans should be excited about her in the backcourt), but for a club as expansive as Munciana, is this really the best they can do for an 18’s-1 OH?

Is early graduation from HS the reason a L moves to OH?

Their bench looked small this weekend compared to years past. Maybe someone couldn’t go? Injury?

Not too many players play with Miller's intensity and fire.

18’s... haven’t caught much of it but... Melanie Shaffmaster keeps developing into an awesome setter. I disagree. I actually think her hands and location looked rather smooth in that championship match. I didn't watch any other of the their matches this past weekend because I've already seen all of these players enough. Shaffmaster looks improved over last year, which is all you can REALLY hope for, right? I mean, she's still two years out from college play. I'm not saying she's going to be the next Carlini, and last year I didn't think her setting brought much to the team, but I think next year will be a strong indication of where she's going as a setter if Munciana goes in a 5-1 with her after all these 18's graduate.

Throughout the tourney she looked very strong. IMO, the final was one of her worst matches all weekend.

She was pretty darn good against Aspire in the semis.

I would actually like to see them run a 5-1, with Parker hitting out of the backrow and Shaff able to turn on 2. I don't think Parker's setting is as good as her hitting and vice-versa. If you're going to have a 6-3+ girl set, I've never understood doing it back row only.

Can anyone explain to me why Munciana passes the ball so low and fast to the net sometimes? I feel like it can be a problem for their setters at times
