WVBA is going to finish Top 8 in Open? Did they pick up a ringer? They didn't even qualify to Platinum in the local Power League and weren't competitive at the Open level all season.

Final four is set for tomorrow morning in 18 Open. Finals at 11:00ET and will air on ESPN3 Munciana vs. Far Out, 8:00am Sports Performance (SPRI) vs Team Indiana, 8:00am Biggest shocker to me is neither Circle City, Lexington United or OT18 Aaron advancing to Gold and are all playing for 9th place at best. CC even have their big guns in Baird (Stanford) and Wohlert (WI). Hoping we don’t have another SPRI v Munciana final...that’s getting old. Although SPRI (7-2) easily defeated Munciana (8-1) today in pool play. It appears Munciana is playing without Megan Miller (NE) though. An all Indiana final would be fun...TI did beat SPRI earlier in the week in 3 close sets, so doubtful they can do it twice. Baird is already back with team from being abroad?

Yes, Baird is already back and playing at AAUs. Circle has been playing without their other OH Allison Dennemann all tournament. Baird is obviously an amazing OH, but watching her paired with the little baller OH, (which I assume is Allison) is a deadly combination hitting on the left pin. They also both pass well and hammer the pipe. CC has lots of offensive weapons, but watching those two play was fun. I can see how that could have hurt their team chemistry if she was absent.

How does SPVB drop a set to Nebraska Juniors? The second set (25-15) was how that match should have gone all the way.

Always the same teams In the finals... and this is why people keep coming back to certain clubs.

I don’t see Munciana winning this year. No Miller and neither LSs are very strong. Unless they get the middles involved and use both their RS/S combos it will be tough.

I think Muncianas fast offense hinders their abilities sometimes for their setters. Doesn’t give them much freedom. It amazes me how much better Landfair continues get. Love watching Murr play, literally has touched everything

Well, except one team can’t..... That would be a nice statement had Munci not won triple crown over a good portion of the USAV 18's qualified teams and repeated it at World Challenge.
