Overheard he never practiced with Tim before this event. Thats a reasonable excuse for losing to Ricardo/Chaim, but Kyle/Myles? Taylor Crabb also hadn't practiced with Tim and they did just fine. Eric needs to regroup, get his ego under control and focus on building a long term partnership with someone like Tim/Stafford for this entire year. Jumping around is not going to get him anything and running back to Ed, which is what I expect, also won't. Would Ed take him back again? Wonder if Ed keeps playing with Rafu or gets another defender if he finishes well this tourney. Zaun still has time... if the smiling comment is true, it's probably going to take a certain type of personality to play with him

He really acts like his S doesn't stink as they say, not in a positive way but rather a jerk way. I'd bet Tim would tell you the difference between playing with Taylor and Eric, aside from lesser talent, is bad on-court attitude, in an almost psychotic way, Eric is just weird in all the wrong ways.

I mean that totally unfunny, odd quote when he announced he was playing with Tim should tell you all you needed to know, just say you're excited but also enjoyed your success with Ed, show some class, stop acting like a guy who lives in a van.

Did you get a strange vibe when he said it or did you get a vibe that he was possibly just a quirky sense of humor? Zaun seems to me like someone who's very hard to get to know him but once you do get to know him he would do anything for you. Not very trusting, but completely trusting if you can break down his wall.

I initially took the smiling comment as him saying it to Bomgren during the match. Could just be an odd sense of humor since it was in pics with fans

Trying to catch Casey Patterson/Stafford vs Ricardo/Chaim at 11:15, probably will be half an hour late though 😵

Chase/Sean got game 1 from Trevor/John. That would be a huge disappointment for Trevor/John, especially after they choked in the semis last tournament

Stats of the Rosie/Crabb match don't make any sense whatsoever.
I do think Mayer possibly broke his toe yesterday.

Crabb/Mayer go down super easily. Something must be going on there, maybe the toe injury.

His blocking looks much better than Austin and Huntington. Casey v Chaim coming up. Has there ever been a 3 set match where neither team gets a single dig?

If Mayer is injured and out for Seattle in 2 weeks, that's going to be one interesting partner swap for sure.
