From Washington- Bajema and Powell. If the passing holds up, a middle too. If you're talking about Third team or AA HM then yes for Bajema and Powell but the third team is the AA ceiling for these two. I think Bajema has a good chance at second team, especially because she is a top 5 OH in the pac

I agree but I think she has the potential to do that, and it will help her case that Washington is most likely going to be ranked better then last year

I wouldn't mind seeing Meghan McClure and Sarah Dixon go from the HM to full AA status. Would love to see M. Buzz make the cut as well!!! McClure is going to be on the bench behind Kipp....correct?

That’s is the #1 debated topic in the Stanford thread. McClure passes 6 rotations in serve receive and is the 2nd best behind hentz. She is vital and the passing. If kipp were to play I’m sure McClure would play her back row, but id f McClure sits the front row stanford loses 3 rotations of one of the best passing OHs in the country. It will be interesting to see what happens, whether kipps offense outweighs the need for McClure passing, or vice versa

Feel comfortable saying Plummer, Rettke, Samedy, Gray, Hentz and Stivrins with stay on the 1st team, barring injury. I could see White, due to being a libero on a young team, and Quade (Without Poulter) dropping off of 1st team. I think Stone, Hilley, and Lilley may be ready to bump up. Lanier, if back healty, and Micaya White returning to 1st Team. I'll also say one, or both, of Jordan Thompson and Allie Barber become 1st teamers. Their numbers could be huge. Barber may have to carry an even bigger load this year. I don't see any of the freshman making 1st team this year. In part due to the circumstances they're entering into. K. White is most vulnerable IMO because she's a libero and Penn State probably won't be as good this year. I also have a hard time seeing how Jordan Thompson gets MORE numbers. Thompson had 7 points per set and hit .333. She gets on higher lists based on how well Cincinnati does as a team, there can be little question about that...Barber surely has room to improve re production. Barber has an extremely limited skill set of just being a LS attacker and she still didn't even put up 5 points per set last year. However, Marquette was a better team than Cincinnati, hence 2nd team for Barber and 3rd team for Thompson. I don't care, White still makes NCAA D1 Sweat and Towel Off 1st Team no sweat (pun intended).

I would be shocked if they moved the two time NPOY at OH over to OPP

Any chance Fitzmorris moves to middle, plummer to the right and McClure and Kipp play LS? NO.Why? Plummer’s gonna play opposite on the NT/professionally, Fitzmorris is a better middle than opposite, and Kipp is too good to keep off the floor.

Why? Plummer’s gonna play opposite on the NT/professionally, Fitzmorris is a better middle than opposite, and Kipp is too good to keep off the floor. Well.... 1- It's not Stanford's job to do Karch's dirty work. If Plummer's future is at opposite for the national team, she'll be opposite when she gets to the national team. 2- It's interesting that you use national team justification to switch positions for Plummer, yet USAV has been grooming Fitzmorris for opposite since she was in high school yet now she moves middle? 3- Stanford didn't have Kipp last year and still managed to win the title and only drop one match....

Seriously: think about what you are suggesting, dude (plus you are responding to a post from a well-discredited SU 'follower' [rofl])! Stanford-haters would love that, eh? You are probably right. But Hambly did move Bartsch her senior year from RS to LS when McMahan came to team. Not the same, I know. But, I do think Plummer can play amazingly well at both pins. I like McClure and hope she is on the court. I have not seen Kipp so just responded to people who are saying "she should be on the court"
