Kyle Hobus vs. Zawiercie—that’s what this match looks like. Russell is maintaining his form, also Ensing is playing okay. It’ll be interesting to see if Hobus is just having a one-off performance or if there’s more to it. I’ll be keeping an eye on him in this Champions League season. I was glad to see Ensing get a quality start, lead the match in kills, hit over .500. I has only been used sparingly in the PlusLiga. |

Muagututia had 13 and hit over.400 in a win over Burgas, also in the Challenge Cup.
Gabi came started the fourth set after Rychliki didn't do to well and scored 6 (5 kills, 1 ace) in a 3-1 win over C.S. Arcada Galati in the CEV Cup.
Anderson had 11 kills, 2 aces, and 2 blocks in a sweep of VaLePa in the CEV Cup.

Isaacson got pulled in the second set when they were down 12-15. They came back to win and win the match against Olsztyn in 5.
Indra went off for 30 points.
Szerszen had a solid match for Olsztyn.

3-0 Osaka cruises 25-22 29-27 25-23 Miguel Lopez with quite the match. Lucarelli is still not in good condition. Another problem of JTEKT is Kentaro being injured and their other good MB (Chinese Rao Shuhan) cannot play if both Lucarelli and TJ will play since China is not counted in the special Asian slot anymore starting this season, and counted against the Foreign slot. Hoping tomorrow's match will be better. Miguel Lopez is impressive and leading the league in Attack% so far. |

After that challenge on set point, ZAKSA made it difficult for Zawiercie to finish it out.
No Shoji for ZAKSA today, and Perry is outplaying Shoji's backup.
Solid first few sets for Butryn. Russell is doing his job well.
Grobelny and Recko are attrocious right now.
