the last pick for me is uofaGRAd, so that means vballfreak808 in Wilbur's pod. I like the balance of the divisions.

This is for a 15-team league. Weeks 1-4 ( ALL PLAY AKA VS EVERYONE IN YOUR DIVISION). The top four teams advance, last place team in each division gets eliminated and the league will shrink to a 12-team league. Standings will reset after week 4. Weeks 5-16 (12 weeks) double round robin vs two participants. See below for the benefits of finishing at the top of your division. Click here to view the 2023 Fantasy League - ALL PLAY (with totals)Divisions will be assembled by (snake style draft) Champions 1. wilbur (2024 1st RU) 2. panicvb 3. manyshaped 4. pointexas 5. vballfreak808 Legends 1. Timeless (2023 1st RU) 2. 6FootMenace 3. vballfan17 4. babybacksets 5. uofaGRAD Kings 1. trojansc (2024 4th place) 2. dinonugs 3. vup 4. ITA/USA 5. ay2013 After week 4, the bottom three teams in each division will all be eliminated, and each eliminated participant's team will be added back into the pool of players. Additionally, the bottom three teams will be relegated to a Challengers League next year (maybe!) Incentives for finishing at the top of your division. 1). Pick up ONE player from the eliminated team's pool of players without the use of an add/drop. The draft order will be decided on 1). W/L Record 2). H2H 3). Sets won/loss 2). One extra add/drop to (capped at 11) After the top three have been picked, the pickup session will continue from 4th place - to 12th place. Can we clarify this a bit? Just to make sure, it says "after week 4, the bottom three teams in each division will be eliminated". That should read the bottom team in each division (three total) will be eliminated. Re the post week 4 addition of the eliminated teams players, I don't quite understand the pickup process. So for the remaining 12 players, after week 4, we get re ranked (W/L, H2H, Sets Record), the winners of each division essentially get a free add/drop during the second draft period and one additional add/drop? (and one additional add drop? In the re ranking of teams, it's entirely possible that two teams in one division have a better win loss record than a winner of a separate division. Would both of those teams be higher in the second round draft?

So for the remaining 12 players, after week 4, we get re ranked (W/L, H2H, Sets Record), the winners of each division essentially get a free add/drop during the second draft period and one additional add/drop? (and one additional add drop? Yep, it will be ranked on division finish first. I honestly feel like if there were no divisions for this system it wouldn't be as forgiving, like imagine going 1-13 for the first week. That could be demoralizing and hard to overcome. With divisions, there is less ground to cover if you go perhaps 1-3 for the first week. But yes, to answer your question the free agency session will start with the top teams first from each division and will be ranked using the tiebreakers mentioned earlier. During this free agency, I expect a lot of people to use a couple add/drops here. 36 athletes is a lot and having first dibs could be a gamechanger. Draft order will be the usual snake style and will stop once everyone has passed at least once (the time limit will be dependent on whether there are any Monday-Tuesday matches in week 5 (February 3-9). Re add/drops - yes, the top finisher in each division would get an additional add/drop after getting a free pick during their first free agency pick. It's also not guaranteed the top three even use their free pick here. A max cap of 12 add/drops seems like a lot, but it's not.
In the re ranking of teams, it's entirely possible that two teams in one division have a better win loss record than a winner of a separate division. Would both of those teams be higher in the second round draft? No reordering of the draft. Snake style to keep it simple and free agency will end once everyone has passed at least once.

Right now it just says "The draft order will be decided on 1). W/L Record 2). H2H 3). Sets won/loss". But based on what you just said, it sounds like winning a division takes priority in the draft before win/loss record, which would be an important distinction. It's entirely possible the second place team in one division could have one loss (to the winner of the division) meanwhile the winner in a different division has 2+ losses.

Yes, it will be corrected once the official thread is up. Patience.. Now watch all of this being moot when 6FootMenace doesn't post or show up 5-7 days before the draft.

well, I'm going to move on from BIK rolling the draft order since they seem be fixated on this past election results Volleyfan024 or Logan Tom Fan if you could the honors and generate the draft order. Please post in this thread with the results. www.draftordergenerator.com/

This site > stats.ncaa.org/rankings/change_sport_year_div is better for stats. Select sport and change to DI. Yep, you definitely were unlucky last year, and with serving and blocking subs having a new rule to prevent this from skewing the results, you don't have to worry.
