Washington, with a middle-of-the B1G team, just had their first ever sell out at home against the Huskers. Washington had a sellout because they lowered their prices to $10/ticket from $50/ticket to have a sellout. Why don't they do that every game? They specifically chose to do it for Nebraska because they were aware of the draw. Also, if you've ever had a seat in the nose-bleed section at HecEd you'd realize that $10 might not be such a bargain.

Certainly top three most arrogant coaches in volleyball history. His arm must be sore from patting himself on his back.

He is the GOAT of....what?
Volleyball in general, including international coaches? Collegiate Volleyball, including men's coaches? Women's Collegiate Volleyball? Nebraska Coaches?
Need more context. The answer to your question may depend on the parameters.
Is he on the list? Sure
Beyond that, personal preferences and influences make final determination.

Washington tickets are normally like $15-$20 Why did SMU charge for admission for the first time ever when the played Nebraska? When Wisconsin played Florida at the Kohl Center, didn't they lower the price on tickets? Changing ticket prices for bigger events is very normal.

Yeah, I gotta go with Russ Rose. Didn’t inherit a great program, built from scratch. I forget how many NC in a row.
OTOH, I reffed at Penn State once. He was a real jerk.

Originally, tickets for the Nebraska game were only available to season ticket holders and people who bought tickets to a set of at least 3 games. I assumed it was to prevent Nebraska fans from snagging all of the tickets, but it was a bit much and clearly didn't pan out.

I think Brian G deserves some mention. He tapered off during the ending of his career, as it was hard to compete with the power money, but the man could coach, and has coached/developed some of the greatest womens volleyball players the US has seen (from my knowledge, I was far too young in his prime to see this)

I feel like this is the second half of a conversation, and I missed the first half.

I would say he is the GOAT of recruiting but many coaches would have more titles if given the same resources and recruits he has been given. If Nebraska can’t win it all this year these last 4 or 5 classes have definitely underperformed.

Cook is the “GOAT” right now, but I think its hard to say hes the greatest of all time when names like Shoji, Dunning, Shaw. Rose exist.
I think itll be hard for anyone to truly say who is the goat. Its not like we have Wooden in our midst, someone who is clear cut, the best to ever do it.
All these coaches had something that drew in players and made them good and none of us will all agree on who was the best to do it.

This is a true Goat: “Dave Williams is the NCAA golf coach with the most championships, winning 16 national championships in 36 years at the University of Houston. Williams is also a member of the NCAA Golf Coaches Hall of Fame”. A GOAT equals greatest of all time: JC is not g.o.a.t. Maybe greatest since rose retired !
