Even with the blurry video, it's still easy to see weaknesses. Experience will help that.

Let's be positive lol...more of the stand your ground analogy...standing in. We need to play better defense and control in transition we side out, then we can't serve well enough to get the other team outta system at a high enough rate so we are having an even tougher time taking advantage of transition opportunities. We're never gonna dig like Koreans or Brazilians. To play better defense, we need to block better. If they work on behind the block defense as well we just might, or even better, but yea I agree blocking, which depends on our service game the two are interconnected needs to get better. That was what was so cool about watching Kiraly back in old matches on youtube, not wearing kneepads flying all over the court lol

When the ball dropped on the bad set to anderson earlier that was unacceptable, if they want to become a team that wins medal matches, they have to cover that...Id even rather watch them collide then watch it hit the floor...

Well if I was the US coach I'd not be starting Thorton anymore... Shoji doing much better.

Total momentum change. Love the delivery from Shoji. He's putting nectar on the pins, now to get the middle going. Anderson-Mini-Shoji-Lotman is also holding up on receive.

Pump the brakes. This series, this WL nor these next 2 years are going to lock a team down. This team has ALOT of volleyball to learn and the evaluation period will go on for quite a while. I wouldn't get too high nor too low for any of the newbies.
As the team solidifies the team block and defense will solidify.......until then you will get what you see I'm afraid.
It seems that the staff will be very patient in evaluating players.

Serving + BICs = #ThatsSoSperaw
Edit: Clark isn't scoring on offense, but he's serving and blocking better. That works now, we'll see how it goes against top teams. Loving Kawika's location, tempo, and DEFENSE.
