Could be. When I said "get their looks" I meant in this quad, not necessarily this tournament. But yeah, definitely possible.

So NBC Sports Network should be airing the USA vs Argentina match but the hockey game prior went into like an hour of overtime. So now that it's over rather than playing the volleyball match, they're just doing post game stuff and of course they're just repeating the same stuff. It's a waste of time. I'm starting to wonder if they'll ever play the match at all. I hate that volleyball always gets ignored.
Edit: Oh look, they decided to show 20 minutes of the whole match 2 hours late. Awesome.

Who exactly is responsible for negotiating broadcasting of the tournament on TV?. USAV or FIVB?. In case of USAV is the one responsible for this then we ought to petition for a change of broadcasting station. They should seek for CBS sports, FOX sports, but in my opinion a live streaming on YOUTUBE would be the perfect solution. Youtube can provide streaming in HD 1080p and this would be awesome and it would make everyone happy.

Really we are lucky we have any viewing options. You make it seem that USAV has a choice of broadcast partners. These stations get better ratings showing reruns of bass fishing. |

I guess the frustration is we can't watch it online because NBC has the broadcast rights, but when the broadcast is on, it's replaced with hockey overtime. Serious let down when we started up the DVR.

It is a very involved and very costly process. USA really can't fulfill all of the FIVB's demands on this front, but the FIVB gives a little because USA is such a marquee country. Did NBC put World League matches on one of their video on demand sites last year? I can't remember. |
