Also on episode 3 of season 2 of Fringe...another excellent show...sort of the spiritual successor to X-Files...so far highly recommended! I saw every episode of every season. One of the best parallel universe stories in TV history. The final season kinda sucked though. They just lost steam or perhaps all their key writers.

Anyone watching The Plot Against America? I read the book a few years ago.
Better than The Man in the High Castle (the two shows), but that's not saying a lot. Very slow going through two episodes and it feels like they have left a lot out. I'm sticking with it.

Watching Survivor Caramoan (Fan vs Favorites 2), and this Philip Sheppard reminds me people. Race aside, his eyes reminds me of a friend of mine in NC, but his persona really reminds me of Wolfgang for some reason. I get a chuckle listening to him talk.

I hope to binge watch the ones I missed, like that last 12 years.

I haven't watched Survivor since 2008. I hope to binge watch the ones I missed, like that last 12 years. That's exactly what I'm doing right now, much to wifey's chagrin. Don't know why, but she doesn't like it when I'm enjoying myself. The Amazing Race is the next on the binge watch list. Used to use both shows to plan holidays. Ran into a guide named Grant in New Zealand. One of the early seasons of TAR they went to New Zealand and did a sledging challenge...basically going down white water rapids on a boogie board. So I went to Rotorua to do the sledge (as well as going a short downhill inside an orb), and this big burly guy Grant was our guide. Damn thing is harder than it looked. At any rate, we were suppose to go down the rapids and meet at an eddy afterwards. I went down the rapids, saw the eddy and tried to kick my way there but the river was taking me away. So Grant grabbed my board and yanked both the board and me into the eddy. After I got back to Shanghai I watched the episode again where TAR was in Rotorua and voila...there was Grant in the show. Couldn't believe it. He said he was going to move to Oklahoma to be a trainer or something. Not sure if he made it or not.

My kids have gotten hooked and are now binging on past seasons on Hulu. My older kids remember watching it with us when they were young, but it's completely new to my younger kids. The current season -- comprised of nothing but past winners -- has been fun.

I finished Mad Men last night. I enjoyed it, but so many times I found myself saying, “Wait, what happened to this person or this event?” Lots of stuff left hanging throughout the show, IMO.
SPOILERS
So, did Don go back and write the Coke “I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing” ad? Seven seasons and no hint Peggy and the bearded guy loved each other-until the last episode. I wished they all would have gotten lung cancer.

I wished they all would have gotten lung cancer. To answer your question, yes, I believe that was the implication. I did not care for this, as it felt too self-indulgent. It's not like it's completely unknown as to who wrote that ad (it has its own Wikipedia page that gives a fairly detailed account of how it was created). I agree with you about Peggy and the other guy whose name I forgot. That didn't feel earned (I distinctly remember listening to my sister complain about this too). Anyway, Mad Men is a really good show. I thought the first couple of seasons were a little on the slow side, but it really hits its stride in the third season. It's a top 10 or so drama that I've seen.

I started watching Little Fires Everywhere last night on Hulu. Apparently the book was pretty well known, but I'd never heard of it and knew nothing about it. We're three episodes in. If you like watching shows that set a mood, I think this one absolutely nails foreboding...through the first three episodes, at least.

So I am binge watching Survivor and I noticed something. Over the 39 days of competition, for the most part guys beard grows out. So why are women armpits still clear? Clean as the whistle. Think I only saw some armpit hair last season in Philippine, for the most part all clean. Curious!
