I can't imagine Nebraska high school ball is super competitive. Just making sure you Husker fans have seen the Triple Crown 18 Open final (not be confused with the elite bracket, which is higher) which VCN 18 Elite (though half the roster are not 18's) played in against NPJ Forefront. It has the following Nebraska recruits- Meyer (2020), Evans (2020), Lauenstein (2021), and Allick (2022). In addition, they have Glock (USC, 2021). This was one of the last big club events before COVID shut everything down. It's just one match, obviously, (they ended up losing in 3), but I think it's a bit better look at your future players playing competitive club ball. Here is a link to the roster for jersey numbers. It’s incredibly competitive. If you can’t imagine it being super competitive you are either completely clueless about the level of Hs volleyball in Nebraska, or you just really don’t like Nebraska volleyball

2022 walk-on setter who can play good floor defense. Went down to see her team play just this week. Great all-around player.

Having seen a lot of Norris, with my niece in Beatrice (by Firth), this girl is a really good walkon. Some of her other D1 offers were 2/2, so this is a really nice addition for depth at DS.

I chuckled a bit when I read this phraseology, because I would have expected Beatrice to be better known than Firth!

It was more an explanation for why I would see any Norris matches other than at the state tourney. I've seen a lot of Maisie between Norris and Premier. She's small, but can ball.

Three future Huskers on the same court tonight. Maisie Boesiger and Norris host Waverly, led by Whitney Lauenstein and Bekka Allick. Live stream is here. Match starts 6:30 CT. Be sure to wave at yours truly through your computer screens. I'll be there.

Fun match; thanks for sharing the link.

Either she becomes a beast, or it'll take a beast to keep her off the court. Either way, good for the Huskers.

Their setting clearly wasn’t as good, but Lauenstein made way too many errors that were not setter related in this match. I’m sure John Cook will teach her how to hone her offensive skills, she has a great final step to the ball.

Batenhorst enrolling early. That’s three (+ Rodriguez and Orr).
I usually try to stay away from hyperbole, but Batenhorst already looks like a legit contender for national high school POY after three matches (fourth match tonight).
