I do not think I ever have. At least the men are mixed.

Such a bummer for the USA women. Jem plays SummerLane in the first main match and the winner get WalRoss. Two early departures for the USA. Too bad without most the main teams there. Oh well at least its just a open. If Day/Kessy won their pool that matchup wouldn't have happened.

Rogers/Page lose 3 matches to Germans. I know there is a large German community in Cincinnati, but that is ridiculous.

So I'm watching the feed and I have to ask, why do some players avoid the other team and walk around the posts? It just seems rude to me, is there a good reason for doing it?

Live stream is up now on AVP Ah.. finally a taste of blackouts for FIVB events. The 1x streams are still up for anyone outside the USA.

I wonder if the FIVB streams will be available to watch in the US come the semis and finals. I'm watching the AVP live stream but my video is skipping all over the place. Strangely, the audio seems to be fine though.

Does anybody know if Olympic SEEDING is determined by the qualification cutoff? Like there are 4 Grand Slams after the cutoff, so I was wondering if they had a chance to improve their seeding after they've achieved qualification.
Looks like Walsh/Ross move into the 4th seed if they win. 3rd seed would be ideal. They avoid The EVIL one until the final.

Kerri is blocking really well in the semi (im watching it now) but she really needs to get her passing in order. Last bunch of matches Ive seen she shanks 2-3 balls per set badly.
Also not much pop on her swing. I wonder if she isnt just taking that part easy knowing they are going to win this one. I also feel like April may play a little too deep on defense.
Cant wait to see these guys against the top teams

Damn that was a good ladies final. That was mostly a mental battle with how crappy the conditions were. I've never seen two sides of the court play so severely differently. It was good for Kerri/April to overcome that given that they choked similar huge leads against THE EVIL ONE earlier this year.
Kerri's (and April) passing needs to improve quite a bit but I'll give her a pass because conditions weren't great all week. I still think serving Kerri is a low percentage
Chinese teams in general are always tough match up for the Americans. They are so technically skilled and they are big so the height advantage the USA typically possesses is a wash. .

Happy that Kerri and April won. Got to say though China does not make so many service and hitting errors they probably get that third set and the match. That is part of the game. China just seems to shoot itself in the foot often.

Is anyone able to get the live stream to work? It keeps waffling from 11-11 in the first game to 6-3 in the second. Match might very well be over by now.
