Finally a full field event where the top teams may play each other. Any predictions? Would love to see Nick/Phil take on Bruno and Allison

If they hold their seeds, they'll meet in the finals.

They can't beat Canada much less Brazil. What happen to the fire they used to have. Those were the days. If anybody knows them well tell them to watch this before each tournament!!!!

Are Bourne/Hyden out of the race for Rio?

Are Bourne/Hyden out of the race for Rio? I think mathematically they can still catch Jake and Casey. They are 450 points behind. To have a shot, they need a top 3 this weekend and Jake/Casey can't improve their points. They'd still have to play next FIVB too and do real well. It will most likely come down to this tournament.

There were some aggressive swings in there. Both Phil and Nick really attacking the ball and bouncing it. They look like such a different team than you see today, celebrating aggressively after every point.

That flight must be a momentum killer for sure.....Guto/Saymon couldn't qualify either after winning this weekend in Mason, USA.

That qualifier field is almost as good as the Cincy Open was

Good job by Summer/Lane to make it through qualifier (and they did so with relative ease). Feel like this team has steadily improved over the year (with the exception of the semifinal loss in Huntington). They've got a good shot to advance since their pool, from my view, isn't the toughest.

2 of the top 4 teams in Cinci didn't even make it out the quali's. Damn !

Didn't see the Doherty/Mayer quali, and am sure the long flight had something to do with it, but in the matches I have watched of them this year, I notice a reoccuring them with Doherty. IMHO he has really bad body language, he seems to put his head down a lot, and he does an awful lot of complaining about possibly calls that don't go his way, or the do and aren't good. He seems to lobby for "help" from the refs an awful lot of the time. I really don't like his game very much. His skills have come along, and last year was the first time I have seen him play at a consistently high level, but in the 4 or 5 matches I have seen this year, it's been pretty much the same theme every match.
