On the men's side, of the 16 players that are representing the AVPNext regions, 3 players are 25-under (including Frishman and Brunsting which have already been main draw teams through qualifiers), 3 players are 25-39yoa, 8 players are between 30-40yoa, and 2 players are over 40+yoa.
I still like the system and the exposure it brings and the opportunities it gives, but I would have hoped for some targets of mainly 25-under players really hoping to breakout and be the future of the AVP main draws.

I see Andrew McGuire is playing in qualifier. Wondered if he was still playing or not.
Cabbage and Moran are in the NVL qualifier, they must be realizing their potential and moving over, mainly Cabbage?

Married Heather Hughes and is a real estate broker in Manhattan Beach.

Looking over the Top 8 seeds in the Men's Q, I think there will be some upsets, especially the 6 & 7 seeded brackets. I really want DeFalco and Hilling to get in, and I think they have a great shot from the 22 seed. Also would like to see Andy Ces get in, really cool guy.
Also interested in the Statterfield / Strickland pairing. Ian has been the blocker so far in his career.
Kessel and Cook will have a tough road to get in, McColloch / Rodriguez-Bertran will be hard to get out.

Not sure how much they have been playing but as draws for 56th seeds go, Gregan/Davis could make it to at least the play in game. For most of the last ten years I would have taken them over VZ and VZ and given odds.
Not sure how Dentler made it to the 5 seed in a qualifier over a lot of teams that have played a Main Draw or three

I'd probably take Gregan/Davis this year too. VZs haven't been all that great this year. Prosser/Weaver should move on in that bracket, unless Matt is totally out of shape.

Link to live scoring or are qualifier matches being streamed at all?

On the Women's side, a few top 10 seeds have lost early (9,6,5). Hildebrand / Klineman lost their opening match in 2.

BVBinfo.com seems to be getting the match scores up pretty quickly. A few first-round results I noticed on the women's side: Mirkovic/Plummer (Q59) beat Agraz/Peterson (Q6) in 3 sets; Hildebrand/Klineman fell (in two) to Schmitt/Troxell; and K.Cook/Walker finished off a couple of teenagers (Deterling (14yr)/Lindner Rosado (15yr)) rather quickly, 21-4, 21-5.

Hilling injured his knee, or maybe leg. Played through but caused a loss.
