wow. That had to be a little tough to watch... Bad parenting right there, but whatever. Maybe 16 Y.O. should be a cut off? I tried looking them up at CBVA.com. Could not find Deterling; Lindner Rosada is rated an adult B. Well, they can say they played in the Manhattan Beach Open.

In case anyone wasn't aware, avp.com/live is up and running today. Glad they are live streaming Friday for once. Still they make terrible choices on which matches to show. Fendrick/Sweat in the first round? Women's early round actions is always awful, much less in a 32 team draw. Its a fact of life that low ranked men are much more exciting than low ranked women, I wish the AVP would realize that and schedule accordingly

Looks like they have Drost/Kolinske vs Todd/Slick on Center Court at noon - so at least that should be competitive.

He has been a seemingly full time pro for a while but cant be making much. I think he could win given the right partner and circumstances, but its getting late in the game

If I'm reading it right, there were precisely zero upsets on either men's or women's side today. Been awhile since I've seen that in the AVP...

18 beat 15 on the men's side... and a few more upsets on the women's side.

Large fields generally mean fewer upsets, since the draw is so diluted. That said, on the women's side #31 beat #'s 18 and 16 (I've never in my life heard of Osburn/Rice). #23 (Q7) beat #8, and #28 (Q12) beat #11.

Yeah they must of had to wrong. I just woke up and saw it not on there. Last night it said Rosie won like 16 and 15. I was like what.
