I'll say this much - if Lochte and his cast of merry drunken medalist completely lied about this it will end up costing him a ton of dollars. The other three swimmers I couldn't even tell you their names. I still think there is a lot more to this whole story - if I were a betting person, I'm putting my money on Team Drunk raising hell and vandalizing stuff, mouthing off to cops, who then in turn shook them down for cash in order to make everything go away

I still think there is a lot more to this whole story - if I were a betting person, I'm putting my money on Team Drunk raising hell and vandalizing stuff, mouthing off to cops, who then in turn shook them down for cash in order to make everything go away No I think it will turn out to be something much simpler .....like they realized in order to piss at the gas station they had to pay 1 or 2 reals or .50. (Very common outside of US) Simply because who they are and where they were from and embolden they refused and kick the door in and proceed to piss in the urinal or all.over the damaged door laughing. Just a guess ....but I bet it went down like that Punks |

These guys best get themselves some good local lawyers - things in these countries aren't the same as in the good old USA. Having IOC credentials is the next best thing to diplomatic immunity. Besides, the only possible thing the government could have against them would be filing a false police report, and I don't think they ever filed any report. Not immunity, but yeah, these guys aren't going to jail. They will have to publicly apologize and then leave quietly with their tails between their legs. As for Lochte, if you've seen him interviewed you'll know he is just not that bright, and an A-hole to boot. He is a train wreck waiting to happen now that his swimming career apparently is over. |

Of course his lawyer is saying his story is correct and that the world should be outraged at the treatment of his client and 3, 20 year old American swmmers. What a shame. |
