I'm a Longhorn, Texas native, live in Texas.
But, some of y'all are nuts. When was the last time Ebony was healthy and performed at her freshman year level? Do we really think that her chronic back issues can hold up amidst a professional/USA quad?
When was the last time Hooker a) completed and b) performed against high caliber, international competition?
Lots of y'all are making assumptions based upon the past and not present or future.

Asking out of ignorance, but what was ever the diagnosis of her back pain? Something that's chronic and manageable or simply a change in the way she trains and plays?

She played before she was healthy, which made it worse.

OH: Hodge, Larson, Hill, -----or Ribsinson OPP: Destinee, Lowe, ---- Nwanebu or Murphy (if Destinee has not returned) MH: Alhassan, Dixon, Akinradewo S: Carlini, Glass L: Natalie Hagglund ----or Robinson
Honestly, I think Robinson will continue to make rosters because of her skill set. I would love to see her transition to lib. She can receive and play defense. That is something we didn't have from a lib this quad. Only SR.

This is a little crazy to look at 4 years out, especially after all the changes that happened in the last two years of this quad. But it's fun to discuss.
Women's Beach: Hughes/Claes and April Ross/??. I don't see a great young blocker for April yet, but she'll get into Tokyo somehow. Men's Beach: who knows. I'll say Tri Bourne/Taylor Crabb and Skylar Del Sol from the NVL with Patterson
Women's Indoor:
S: Kreklow, Carlini OH: Hill, Robinson, Vansant, Hodson. I agree that Robinson's all around game is going to keep her around for a while. MB: Dixon, Adams, Anjanaku (Alhassan might sneak in here) OPP: Lowe, Murphy. Hooker would be nice here, but I'll believe it when I see it. L: Hagglund
Men's Indoor:
S: Christenson, Shaw OH: Sander, Russell, Jaeschke, Brian Cook MB: Holt, Smith, Jendryk OPP: Anderson, Patch (Troy might be in this mix too) L: E. Shoji

Women:
S- Carlini, Lloyd (Though I think Glass will stay around until Tokyo) OH - Hill, Vansant, Courtney, Hodson (Maybe Larson will stay until Tokyo. A few of those recent grads like Simpson and Kingdon can be contenders too) MB - Dixon, Akinradewo, Ajanaku Opp - Lowe, Eckerman (Also thinking Murphy will stay until Rio) L - Hagglund/Robinson

I'm surprised some of the gaps people have in questioning whether someone is too old to come back, but putting some others on the come back list. For the record, Foluke, Larson, and Glass are all of the same era (08 and 09 grad). Hooker is in this era too for those wanting her on the roster, and Hodge. Just sayin.

I am surprised that so many people are assuming that Larson and Banwarth will not be in Tokyo. They will be 33 and 31 years old in Tokyo. That is not that old.

I am surprised that so many people are assuming that Larson and Banwarth will not be in Tokyo. They will be 33 and 31 years old in Tokyo. That is not that old. One story was that Larson was contemplating retirement before Rio. So I think many feel she will go forward with that before Tokyo.

Honest to god, I can't understand so many are picking Kreklow and Cheesehead Jesus. Kreklow was sent packing from the USAV gym and Cheesehead J's only major international accomplishment was to lose her starting job to Hancock in the first match of the Pan Am Cup.
