Great effort by the Gophers. Appears it was a great match. I hope Bratford is ok. Gophers look to be a contender again this year, at least early on. Hope they take it easy on the Gators in a few weeks.

If Bratford hadn't gotten injured they may well have been able to eek out the 5th game win.
Hopefully she's not badly injured and out for a significant part of the season.
The Gophers can be proud of how well they played against the WOT.

Can't wait to see them in action, though. Get your tickets to Long Beach now!

Gorf, it's "eke", not "Eek!" Well, on second thought, maybe it is "Eek!" tonight.

Jen? What the @#$@. Are they running a 3 setter offense? Why isn't Amanda in there. Stupid freshman. She needs to stay away from the net. I hope she gets hazed in her first week of school. Jen is a very good all around player, not sure Amanda would have done any better than Jen did in this situation. Its certainly easy to second guess coaching decisions though. (R)ufda! said he thought the Gophers started being too cautious with their serves in the 5th game. He's hung up now though, and presumably will call Mrs (R)! now.

Thanks to Gorf, Mrs (R) and (R)uffda for keeping all of us updated. With you guys, who needs an audio broadcast!! Well done. I eeked at the thought of the 5th game loss, sorry. If I manage to make it to any road matches I'll consider taking my notebook computer to the match with my cell data card so I can post from court side. I may have to get an extra battery (or two) for the notebook though.

ROFL.
I'll just check prices on eBay periodically between now and whenever I can potentially make a road match.
Not sure how many road matches I'll be able to make this year.
It might be that the "border battle" with Northern Iowa would be the first one, perhaps Wisconsin.

Thanks to Gorf, Mrs (R) and (R)uffda for keeping all of us updated. With you guys, who needs an audio broadcast!! Well done. Glad to be of service. I just wish we could have been the bearers of better news. Although, a five-game, 3-point loss to the two-time defending national champs in the second match of the year with your L2 out for all of game 5 is nothing to sneeze at. (R)uffda! syas this was the best collegiate volleyball match he's ever seen. I'm sure he'll fill you all in as soon as he gets access. No later than Monday, for sure.
