Wow, I'm sure once he completes anger management classes, recruits are going to flock to him in droves! What a great tool to keep around.

he made players do conditioning drills. what a monster! (I don't personally know anything about the situation, I just find it funny that that is considered an allegation of abuse)
edit: oops, there were so many ads and popups on that page that I didn't realize that the story went into more detail after the bullet points. my bad

The fact that he did it until someone puked and another player passed out? Not great.

For those who took Anger Management classes in real life, what's it like?
(Fortunately, I have no anger issues. Life is peachy.)

Violated NCAA rules, discussed his players personal relationships (about their boyfriends), kicked furniture, belittled them, retaliated...and Massaro is giving this grown man a chance because???
These are different times folks. This type of treatment is not going to fly anymore. It’s just not.

Hello,
This is Chuck. As I sit here a read these comments as well as others on other social media platforms it shocks me how people can say things about a person that they’ve never met. There were many allegations made against me… Many or false! For example, the player who passed out… What the allegation does not tell you is that our trainer verified that she did not pass out and in roughly 3 minutes from the time she fell down she was back on her feet and wanting to run the last sprint on her own accord. No one threw up!
So what actually happened?
1. I did drop the F bomb over the course of six matches in two years. I deeply regret this because it is not in my nature to use profanity. I rarely curse in my personal life. There’s no excuse for it I was wrong.
2. I did run the team after our loss. This was also wrong! Definitely a bad judgment call and something I regret. I ran the team on September 14… They did not run nor did I cuss the remainder of the year and even to this day.
Players and families and yes coaches get caught up in the emotion of athletics. Sometimes those emotions get the best of us, it got the best to me a few times. But I’ve never kicked open a door or furniture! I did not even kick balls in practice!
I will fully admit to what I did wrong but I will stand my ground against the lies and half truths that were told.
Many of you know me and know that my integrity and character have been without question all my years as a coach. I have broken one rule in my entire coaching career and that was when I ran the team.
I’ve never been accused of any wrongdoing at any point in my career. Unfortunately in this situation allegations were made and because of certain factors those untrue allegations were left in the report even though I have physical proof and Many witnesses that can attest to this fact.
My cell number is 615-995-5108. Rather than take cheap shots at me I would rather you just called me. I will be more than happy to discuss any questions that you have.
Please remember a few things... All of us have a responsibility to grow and build kids up. I did lose sight of that for a brief moment as I was so focused on winning and Deeply regret it which is why I still have the head coach at MTSU. If the allegations were true I would’ve already been fired!
Also remember… That every coach regardless of sport is only one recruit away for being in the same situation in regards to the lies and false accusations made about them.
I pray that everyone who is reading this will learn from my mistakes/poor choices and does not repeat what I did.
Kind regards, Chuck
