Spring 2020 season will count towards grace and waiting periods. For NCAA Men's Volleyball purposes- that means AMCC will have an automatic bid in 2021

Tyler Anderson transfers to Alvernia from Elmira... thoughts?? Just happened to see this on MiddleHitter. Puts them in Top 3 of the MAC. Looks like it could shake out to Stevens Tech, Stevenson, Alvernia.... with Messiah right there behind them all season. The loss of Nate Reynolds on Stevenson is big (literally and figuratively), so we will see how that all plays out. Regardless, a mixture of these teams will be in the nation rankings through out the season.

Tyler Anderson transfers to Alvernia from Elmira... thoughts?? Just happened to see this on MiddleHitter. Wow. What a steal for Alvernia. They already seemed like they were on the up and coming, looks like next year might be their chance to make some noise. This is assuming Anderson can hang in their gym. Elmira’s team and coaching seems much different than what’s at Alvernia’s. The MAC will be very competitive next season it looks like in 2021. I would put Alvernia #3 behind just Stevens Tech and Stevenso. The lost of Reynolds is huge (literally) but rumor mill has it that Stevenson has filled that position with another transfer...

That family sure likes to transfer. Older brother went to three schools, played at two. And first two were within first to second semester. For Stevenson, I’m not sure I get all the love for them this past season. Reynolds is great, pretty surprised he transferred. But what was their best win in 2020? SVU without Clark? A Nate Miller-less LBC? I think their best win was Rivier, and that’s not that great of a win. Stevens this year seems like they would have been the clear top team. It will be interesting to see if any of their top guys return/who they bring in.

I would not be surprised to see Tyler leave Alvernia if they do not get the success he is looking for. Winning has to be something he is looking for in a program. However, it surprises me that he would choose Alvernia, the 2020 season has been their only “successful” season. Stevenson did not have any “big signature” wins, but the MAC is not loaded with great teams. A lot of the teams are just competitive with one another, especially now, that Arcadia will more than likely take a couple step backwards losing all but 2 starters. Messiah has a good young core, that got swept by Stevenson. Alvernia also got swept by Stevenson. That is why Stevenson gets the #2 spot, at least from my perspective. I do think Arcadia, Alvernia, and Messiah can find away to take that spot though, it will depend on how reliable Stevenson’s AA will be next season.

I guess I'll come out and say it. Some last pieces being finalized in the process but Grace, O'Malley, Nolan, Carrk and Skeete are all returning for another year.... good luck to the rest of D3

Hearing Jeremy Torres is headed 5 miles down the road To sit behind Brandow and York??? Seems pretty short-sighted.
