Yes when there are 14 players, two of them must be in the libero jersey.

Any word on Russia’s line up yet? France likely won’t make it out of the pool without Grebennikov, E’Ngapeth, LeGoff and Boyer. We really need to go top of the pool to avoid Brazil in the cross over. I feel like Poland with out Kurek and Leon won’t be impossible to topple and I’m not sure Iran can keep this going though they have had a good tournament so far. Saw this on another site: S: Kowaljow, Kobzar OP: Polatajew, Ziemczonok MB: Kurkajew, Filippow, Jakolew OH: Wolkow, Kljuka, Podlesnych, Woronkow, Semyszew L: Golubiew, Martyniuk Pretty strong roster. I actually think the the absence of Verbov and his reception on this "new-era" Russian team hurts more than no Mikhaylov as long as Poletaev plays decently. But I don't think they can compete with Brazil and USA without Muserskiy.

It has been reported by CBS 2 in Chicago that the Iranian team was detained and questioned for four hours at O'Hare. They were then allowed to go to their hotel. Absolutely ridiculous.

Taken from another international forum, posted by someone from Iran, or is a fan of the team:
"This is exaggeration , this is mostly what happened last year not this year.
this year it seems they just kept the players for 4 hours and then let them go. Still that's not the best way to welcome your guests but we can't expect more from the Americans. while our federation made a story out of it, from what I heard most of team members were fine with that (mostly because they had worse experiences from such trips to USA)."

So, since USAV is not in any hurry to tell the people who will be playing in Chicago this week, Jake Langlois is NOT on the Finals roster as he looks to be at Disneyland today via his Instagram! Eliminates him as the 4th OH possibility even after his great week in Bulgaria (I still think it’s Jaeschke).

Yes when there are 14 players, two of them must be in the libero jersey. what are rules for switching libero jersey? can they be switched between sets or games or whole tourney? Could Huhmann wear it one set on the bench then play middle the next while Jendryk switched Jersey color?

Could Huhmann wear it one set on the bench then play middle the next while Jendryk switched Jersey color? Well I’d have to google to be sure, but I believe only two can be designated per match. Also Jendryk has an Instagram story promoting the finals - I assume he is there?

He had other stories from DT Chicago and even though he is from there, I can’t imagine he would be promoting the Finals if he was left off the roster.

So far we have social media evidence of: Jendryk, Christensen, Anderson, Jaeschke, Ma’a, Shoji x2, Patch, Holt, Sander. Anyone else?
