I think terraflex looks so much better than wood, it's also way more fun to play on. I wish Stanford had terraflex

I don't remember all the details, but Oregon has a sh*tload of trees and at one point back in the day a really good Oregon basketball team was called the Tall Trees or Tall Timber or something like that. So someone had the idea of carrying on that ancient name by painting trees all around the court as if you were in the middle of the forest looking up at all dem big ol' Oregon trees. Thanks God they didn't go with the name my daddy called me: "Big Turd" (Of course, if they had, I'm not sure the floor would look much different." Omg why is this not your username? Maybe don't add the matching avatar, please. You must have been a fast grower; or your daddy might have called you a little 5H17! GO HUSKERS

So why does't Stanford have a terraflex floor? I don't know. Stanford and penn state, 2 most storied programs of all time both have wood. Florida also has wood and they are up their in all time success. They also spend a whole lot of money on their sports teams.

I don't know about Stanford and PSU but when volleyball isn't happening, there are tons of KIN classes on those courts (3 total) and lots of open gym (both basketball and volleyball), which is why there are other lines throughout the court.

I really like Army’s floor. Black and gold. It’s sharp. Also Indiana’s new area is really clean. I of course can’t find a picture of either floor, can some one post one? What a beautiful arena

Surprised they used the Mission as a symbol considering alongside it is a graveyard where they buried the enslaved indians.

So why does't Stanford have a terraflex floor? Where are the teraflex floors? It's what Nebraska, Louisville, Iowa, Kentucky, cinci, etc... all have, it's the smooth almost matte looking Court, no tiles and not hard court. The picture above of cinci court is an example.

I think terraflex looks so much better than wood, it's also way more fun to play on. I wish Stanford had terraflex Depends upon the wood. I think wood looks really sharp anywhere the floor is a volleyball-only floor. Teraflex looks great in some places, but it can also be hit or miss. More of a matte finish, so may not pop quite like a wood floor can. One thing I don't like about wood is that if you have a giant video board you can really see the lighting differences on the wood floor when the picture changes on the board. It can be fairly dramatic if you have a massive scoreboard. I have no knowledge of the quality of play on one surface versus another. I've never been on Taraflex

I've never been on Taraflex As a player, terraflex is much easier and more fun to play on. It's a bit softer than wood so you're not as sore after, and when diving you slide more than you do on the wood, which is where you just get floor burns.
