Is Mosser still seeing playing time at UCLA or did they finally pull her? She has been largely ineffective this year from what I have seen. With Thompson's return, Mosser has been playing a lot better purely based on the eye test. I remember she would essentially get blocked on every hit, but now it's much better. I wish Mosser and Hadrych could combine their talents because Hadrych has a cannon of an arm, but swings really low. Mosser swings high, but she's shorter and tends to hit right at the block.

I thought that BTN+ streamed the first weekend matches gratis. I hope so but have not seen anything yet from them. Perhaps they could move the football games over to BTN+ instead ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Traveling to Madison for the matches Friday. Just bought an all-sessions GA pass earlier this week despite being able to attend Friday night only, since didn’t want to wait around till Friday to buy Friday-only passes, and the fear (unfounded?) that it may have sold out. Wasn’t a big deal, only $5 more for all-session than single day.
- is there a chance Friday could sell out from all-session tickets alone? (have never been to UW field house)
-how strict are they actually about no re-admission between the 1st and 2nd matches? We have a baby, and would prefer to take him back to the hotel for dinner before the Wisconsin match starts
- if anyone is interested in a pair of GA tickets for Saturday only, let me know

But, my experience in the Field House is that NCAA matches are less attended than regular season matches. I always seemed to have more choice in terms of where I was going to sit, even for regional final matches.

Each year could be different but they are typically pretty strict. I don't understand it because you still have the ticket which they do not take or manipulate in any way.

Nebraska, Purdue are also on BTN+ and saying that it will be a free stream. Minnesota also announced that their second round match will be on BTN+ for free. Wisco does not have a game link up yet but assuming it will be the same as Rainbow mentioned. Edit to add: BTN+ is starting to populate the games on their schedule www.btnplus.com/schedule?day=2019-12-06

Each year could be different but they are typically pretty strict. I don't understand it because you still have the ticket which they do not take or manipulate in any way. They are gonna be strict about re-entry, so don't try. I've been bringing Rainbowkiddo (now 15 months) to the Field House since they were 2 weeks old. Tips: - You can bring in a diaper bag with a kid who still needs diapers, and security is typically super lax about what's in it. They will let you carry in ample food & drink for the kid, so don't worry about having to feed concession-stand food.
- Changing tables are in both the men's & women's bathrooms in the northwest corner of the FH.
- A Mamava lactation pod is on the west side of the FH, near section T. Even if you're not nursing, you're welcome to use it if you need a quiet space to feed your baby.
- You can bring in an empty water bottle and fill it with filtered water at the water fountains. Useful for anyone, but especially for nursing parents who need to stay hydrated, and for formula-feeding parents who need to mix powder. Madison tap water is very good quality and has no lead issues; we used it for Rainbowkiddo's formula.
- Bring hearing protection. It's loud AF in there. Without it, Rainbowkiddo is a wreck. With it, they sleep like a baby. We use the moldable silicone kind rather than the earmuff style because it makes for easier maneuvering in a sling/carrier and a more comfortable sleeping position.
- Of the local pre-gaming establishments, HotelRED is the only one whose restrooms have changing tables. Lucky's doesn't have changing tables, but there's sufficient counter space in the main bar's ladies' room. Don't even bother trying at Jordan's or Sconnie.
The FH is very child/family-friendly, so feel free to PM with more questions.

There will be about 2 students.

Illinois St. had a weird mid season swoon, but overall I’m not convinced Wisconsin has an easier first round match. That said, this will 100% come down to how well Haggerty and Loberg are hitting.
Badgers, despite the high seed, got a very tough subregional.

Maybe they will give free tickets and free food if they make it to next weekend I predict Sheff does a similar move to 2016 and pays for a big batch of student tickets if they make the Sweet 16. In 2016, they had Pizza Hut offer free pizza to those students, too.

Hope Sealy is watching tape of Rettke hitting the slide to the same area of the court. FWIW, I believe UCLA has always covered the angle from slide hitters better than just about any team in the Pac-12. I'm not sure where Rettke is hitting her slides, but if she's going angle, and they are not absolute rockets, then UCLA will dig a decent percentage of them. In the latest UCLA/Stanford match at Maples, Stanford adjusted and started going line more often on MH slides and attacks by their OPP Fitzmorris. This strategy worked very well for them.

I don't understand it because you still have the ticket which they do not take or manipulate in any way. Most tickets have a barcode that they scan, which is tied to a unique ticket ID, and once that ID has been scanned, the system knows that ticket has been used and can't be re-used. So while they haven't physically marked the ticket, it has been "manipulated" in the system.

Hope Sealy is watching tape of Rettke hitting the slide to the same area of the court. Why are you (and maybe others?) trying to make a thing out of where Rettke hits the slide to? If it were so easy to scout and defend, she wouldn't be hitting over .400 for her career. As my old football coach used to say, we will run the same play all game long until they prove they can stop us. If that's the way it goes for Rettke, then why do you care that she only hits it there? She is capable of hitting it anywhere. If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Hope Sealy is watching tape of Rettke hitting the slide to the same area of the court. I hope so as well since she goes line extremely well and quite often and has some sharp crosses that she uses. Have you seen more than one set she played in this year?
