Badgers fans -- I love y'all but please stop being baited by posters.
Y'all know Rettke is one of the most diverse middles to ever play the game, right? That she successfully hits the slide on the worst of out of system plays, right?
Y'all know Haggerty, though she'll never be who she was her freshman year, is a dynamic player who is doing a lot for Wisconsin down the stretch, yeah?
Hilley is putting up some insane numbers, even when the back court isn't having good first contact, yes?
I keep running across very "passionate" fans debating over how not to doubt the Badgers -- as a UCLA fan, I don't. I don't doubt Norte Dame or Illinois State! This is a great bracket with the potential for some great volleyball. Don't let them get under your skin.

Hope Sealy is watching tape of Rettke hitting the slide to the same area of the court. Why are you (and maybe others?) trying to make a thing out of where Rettke hits the slide to? If it were so easy to scout and defend, she wouldn't be hitting over .400 for her career. As my old football coach used to say, we will run the same play all game long until they prove they can stop us. If that's the way it goes for Rettke, then why do you care that she only hits it there? She is capable of hitting it anywhere. If it ain't broke, don't fix it Lol, the silly thing about people saying “she hits to the same area” is that she pounds the ball down the line real well when it’s open too. It’s funny that people wanna be so judgemental over a player who had offensive success this summer with team USA

Hope Sealy is watching tape of Rettke hitting the slide to the same area of the court. I hope so as well since she goes line extremely well and quite often and has some sharp crosses that she uses. Have you seen more than one set she played in this year? I've seen a lot of Wisconsin this year. Rettke always hits the slide to the same spot on the court.

Btw, I think UCLA is going to get blown out in this one.

It's just Barefoot in Kailua...take it with a grain of sand. Why? I'm usually spot on. Btw, I think UCLA is going to get blown out in this one. I think WISC wins 8/10 times, but you've always got those 2. Attitude and freedom will define how UCLA plays. When Mac May was interviewed by Paul Sunderland after beating Stanford, she went out of her way to give a shoutout to new Associate HC Brad Keller. She said that Keller was in their ear all week telling them to play freely, aggressively, that they had nothing to lose, and just have fun playing volleyball. The team responded to that in a way they NEVER responded to Sealy. So who is in the players' ear this week? If Sealy, they'll get blown out. If Keller, they've got a 50/50 chance. I would love to see Sealy sick-out, hand the team to Keller, and see if he can handle the big lights. Or if Sealy goes, to stay 100 yards away at all times from Thompson and Chang.

In the past they have not allowed a re-admittance between matches if you leave. Each year could be different but they are typically pretty strict. I don't understand it because you still have the ticket which they do not take or manipulate in any way. They are gonna be strict about re-entry, so don't try. I've been bringing Rainbowkiddo (now 15 months) to the Field House since they were 2 weeks old. Tips: - You can bring in a diaper bag with a kid who still needs diapers, and security is typically super lax about what's in it. They will let you carry in ample food & drink for the kid, so don't worry about having to feed concession-stand food.
- Changing tables are in both the men's & women's bathrooms in the northwest corner of the FH.
- A Mamava lactation pod is on the west side of the FH, near section T. Even if you're not nursing, you're welcome to use it if you need a quiet space to feed your baby.
- You can bring in an empty water bottle and fill it with filtered water at the water fountains. Useful for anyone, but especially for nursing parents who need to stay hydrated, and for formula-feeding parents who need to mix powder. Madison tap water is very good quality and has no lead issues; we used it for Rainbowkiddo's formula.
- Bring hearing protection. It's loud AF in there. Without it, Rainbowkiddo is a wreck. With it, they sleep like a baby. We use the moldable silicone kind rather than the earmuff style because it makes for easier maneuvering in a sling/carrier and a more comfortable sleeping position.
- Of the local pre-gaming establishments, HotelRED is the only one whose restrooms have changing tables. Lucky's doesn't have changing tables, but there's sufficient counter space in the main bar's ladies' room. Don't even bother trying at Jordan's or Sconnie.
The FH is very child/family-friendly, so feel free to PM with more questions. Thank you rainbow badger and all for your input

Hope Sealy is watching tape of Rettke hitting the slide to the same area of the court. FWIW, I believe UCLA has always covered the angle from slide hitters better than just about any team in the Pac-12. I'm not sure where Rettke is hitting her slides, but if she's going angle, and they are not absolute rockets, then UCLA will dig a decent percentage of them. In the latest UCLA/Stanford match at Maples, Stanford adjusted and started going line more often on MH slides and attacks by their OPP Fitzmorris. This strategy worked very well for them. Badgers have done this in response to a good angle defense on slides - for both Hart and Rettke. They have multiple positions and tempos on the slide. Sometimes they just throw it up for Dana to hit. Rettke can also hit deep, down the line, off hands, and shift planes of attack. Some times, most of her kills are tools. She has nights where her adjustments are slow, or the slide connection isn't quite there, but to suggest she can hit over 0.400 and not hit with some range is just ridiculous.
