Well, I guess the every-NCAA-tourney streak will come to an end this season. Going to be hard to make it with not playing so many matches.

Well, I guess the every-NCAA-tourney streak will come to an end this season. Going to be hard to make it with not playing so many matches. The Stanford Daily mentions that it takes 10 matches to qualify for the NCAA tournament this Spring. If PS is a la match or 2 short, you might be able to stuff extra matches in if PS is willing to travel for make-ups (or something). WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL Spring schedule set for women’s volleyball By James Hemker on January 20, 2021 Due to Santa Clara County Public Health Department’s current emergency directive, the Cardinal’s first two weeks of competition against USC and Colorado have been canceled. Stanford has 18 remaining matches, which is well above the modified minimum of 10 matches for eligibility in the NCAA tournament. |

A tourny this year will be a farce. It’s not a real season. You could say that about all sports this year. Other than the FB playoffs being the usual same 4 teams it didn't feel like a real season either. |

Other than the FB playoffs being the usual same 4 teams it didn't feel like a real season either. I have said it about every sport college or pro that played through Covid. None of them are legit seasons to me. NBA took a whole offseason off came back played final two weeks and playoffs in bubble. Baseball had who teams sitting for weeks out with Covid so everyone played different amount of games. College football Ohio state played 5 reg season games for gods sake and made playoff. Volleyball, many didn’t play in fall and now u have auburn canceling spring, penn state cancel first weekend , Stanford cancels first two weeks and other schools throughout college with cancellations. All these seasons are jokes |
