Does MaxPrep require a subscription in order to view their schedules all of a sudden? I just checked and I am still able to view the HS pages. It did not require me to pay a subscription fee.

I must have hit the cap limit. FWIW, it is just the schedules that are behind a paywall. Not the team pages.

I did not check the schedule, but I do not think it has been determined yet to post at our HS.

Evidently they were upgrading their website. Back to normal, but with a new format.

Texas 5A & 6A were allowed to officially practice today. Scrimmages allowed Friday with real games next week.

New York just delayed volleyball, football, and cheer to the abbreviated spring season.

I've noticed that a number of Ohio HSs have knocked their "senior night" out early in the season.
They must be operating as though the season could get cancelled abruptly.

Southern Cal high school ball looks like it is going to move forward per CIF plan they put out a while back. A couple of things we are hearing. First, probably no spectators. Second, since boys and girls will play at same time, the frosh and JV will play at one gym, while the varsity boys and girls will play at another...with girls first, then the boys. The coaches are struggling to figure out how to give live feed, fall back will be video released after game. Let's get this party started!

Could live feed be that difficult? Couldn't someone do a FB or IG live ? Would mean one additional person in the gym to film but...shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Does anyone in other regions that are already underway have suggestions or advice re: a simplistic live feed?

Does anyone in other regions that are already underway have suggestions or advice re: a simplistic live feed? We've been through 5 games so far here and every school was different. Our school sets up a live feed on youtube. Another school did facebook live. One had nothing, one had a video sent out after the game, and one had a livestream that wanted you to pay $10 to join their site. The ones that had video seemed to have a tripod set up at the top of the bleachers. The number of spectators allowed has varied from 2-4 per player. Most schools you are only allowed in for the one game your daughter is playing and they kick everyone out and spray down/clean between games. It makes for a long night on school nights, especially when your school requires all players to stay for all 3 games to support each other(but parents aren't allowed in for the other 2, so you have to kill time nearby). All have had taped spots on the bleachers where you are allowed to sit.
