A little miffed that the Gopher ticket office is again saying that all tickets (for the Regional) will be handled through the WI ticket office. What's done with the tickets that are reserved for the visiting schools?
I sure don't want to try and fight with Badger fans (and presumably, their season ticket holders will be given first shot at tickets, same as Gophers were for our sub-regional).
(Trying to decide whether to go down for the matches. I'm not thrilled with the bleacher seating at the Fieldhouse, but I do want to see the Gophers play.)

The sky is not falling In fact, the ceiling looks higher 1 Our serving is tough and opponents aren't getting the passes that let them run middle quicks 2. Shaff is upping the tempo to the left pins and opponents aren't getting the kind of walls we were seeing during the B1G campaign. 3. We are not sending a host of free balls over for the opponents to transition into kills otoh (a smaller hand) Myers on back slides: TRY DOWN THE LINE. You are being blanketed cross court Husemann & Myers: NO PRISONERS ON OVERPASSES. Put it on the floor... WITH PREJUDICE LOL @ prejudice! Myers got her stare down ready for Baylor |

So when is the Baylor match? Gophers webiste says Friday, Wisconsin website says Thursday. It's so lame how they stagger matches for TV. Who the hell can watch a Thursday match at like 2 pm?

The regional finals this year have a day off between the Sweet 16 & Elite 8. Thurs & Sat is on tap for the Madison regional final afaik. This was a special moment tonight. Broken play, Samedy goes up and crushes it. Many members of the crowd got up to give Samedy a standing ovation for the OOS kill. Really felt like a moment of extra appreciation for the last 5 seasons on her last night playing at the Pav.
Honestly, tonight was the most fun I've had at a gopher game since at least 2018. Really felt like the perfect night to send out Samedy and Miyabe. I really wish they had gotten a moment at the end of the match for the crowd to show their appreciation for all they've given us.
On to the Sweet 16!

Has anyone received any communication from the Gopher ticket office regarding tickets for the Regional (which takes place in 4 days!). I know that JT appears to have received info from them, (but then he sits in the fancy seats on the end line, so he’s got connections! ). There isn’t anything on the Wisconsin ticket website for the Regional, and the NCAA ticket website has a heading for Regional tickets, but there’s nothing there when you click on it. I guess I’ll just keep checking here and hope that some info is disseminated today. I got an email with a link to UW for tickets - but the link doesn't have tickets for this coming weekend's round. |

Thank you for this super snapshot of maybe the most defining play of this Gopher seasonThis was a special moment tonight. AMAZING SCRAMBLE PLAY. MIYABE DIVES CROSS COURT TO BRING UP TIP, WENAAS, DIRECTLY BEHIND MYERS DEEP IN THE COURT AND LEFT OF THE MIDPOINT, WITH NO HITTER AT THE LEFT PIN AND NO ANGLE TO SHAFF EITHER, BUMP SETS DEAD CENTER TO THE 3 METER LINE WHERE Samedy goes up and crushes it.
