this entire damn season has been like a movie. so what the hell. give us a plot twist. Lauenstein comes in at OPP, Krause to OH, and both have their best game of the year. To clarify, I hope Batenhorst did not fracture her wrist and that she can play in the Final. I suspect she does not have a wrist fracture, but jammed her wrist. If she can't play, I suspect Sun will start with Lauenstein possibly getting playing time as well. My previous post although not out of the realm of possibilities was made in jest. NE has tremendous depth at the pins this year. And that looks to continue going forward.

Awesomeness! Play of the match, for my money. We need a few repeats this evening.

Maybe we need a poll on guessing how high each players heels are in the picture. Yeah I wonder if Caffey is pumped up

Does anyone know why I would not be able to see the AVCA photos posted by ilikecorn? I see the youtube notifications that ilikecorn posts.

If the Huskers win tonight they will have the most losses (tie) of any team to win an NCAA title. Stanford after winning the title over Texas in 2016 also had 7 losses, they finished 26-7. The two teams with the 2nd most losses and winning a title were Stanford over Minnesota in 2004 (30-6) and UCLA over Stanford in 1984 (33-6). *apparently in 1981 USC had 10 losses...eh why quibble over small details

I spoke with a team contact of mine today. They’re pretty sure Batenhorst’s left wrist is broken but she won’t get an x-ray until after the finals tomorrow. She’s just going to get it taped up and play. She’s a true warrior! I noticed her effectiveness in the match went down after she was injured. I would get a pain injection if I was her. Wow! I don't like this. I was thinking Sun's block might be needed today anyway - and a return by Lexi to lead the team to the championship would make a heckuva movie. I hope if Ally's wrist is indeed bothering her, that Lexi gets the start. Batenhorst has pushed hard and helped this team get here but I do miss watching Sun play. One of the most beautiful hitting forms the past couple years.

I honestly do t think a left wrist injury would keep her from playing. If it does, Nebraska will be forced to play an experienced all American. Poor Huskers

Hey Husker fans! Here’s a video interview by Out of System with special guest, Lauren Stivrins! when she said one side of the bracket is a cakewalk and the other is like the hunger games 😂😂😂 I wouldn't call it a cakewalk but it is probably true the Huskers were on the easier side of the bracket. Washington got swept by UCLA, Minnesota and Texas both split with Baylor and Louisville beat Pitt twice.
