Batenhorst has pushed hard and helped this team get here but I do miss watching Sun play. One of the most beautiful hitting forms the past couple years. You’d be gaining improved left front blocking which vs Wisconsin is critical . I honestly do t think a left wrist injury would keep her from playing. If it does, Nebraska will be forced to play an experienced all American. Poor Huskers Badgers haven't seen Sun much this year. Batenhorst played most of both matches.

If the Huskers win tonight they will have the most losses (tie) of any team to win an NCAA title. Stanford after winning the title over Texas in 2016 also had 7 losses, they finished 26-7. The two teams with the 2nd most losses and winning a title were Stanford over Minnesota in 2004 (30-6) and UCLA over Stanford in 1984 (33-6). Professor, I've got Chuck Erbe in the back corner with Sourthern Cal and 10 loses in 1981. Still, the Huskers have not won yet with more than 4 loses or with fewer than 32 wins.

Wow her point went right over your head Louisville had to play Florida and GT - they definitely had the “easiest” path considering Florida lost an OH right before the tourney and Louisville had already beaten GT twice 3-0. Wisconsin had UCLA and Minnesota. Pitt had Kansas and then Purdue. and Nebraska had Illinois and freaking Texas in Austin. Nebraska, Texas, Washington, and (what was supposed to be) Kentucky was 100% one of the hardest regionals in any tournament ever. Illinois took one for the (BIG) team:) That regional was incredibly tough with Illinois there. They were a good team.

Sun had 7 kills and 7 errors in Madison. I think Ally only took one swing in that match. Correct me if I’m wrong. Madi, Kayla, and Lauren contributed the most offensively. In Lincoln, Ally had 5 kills and 6 errors. No Husker had more than 9 kills that night (and there were still two deuce sets).

Yup, sorry for the bad info from me. So much for the advantage of a changeup. Let's just hope Ally's wrist is not an issue. Want to see both teams at full strength

Want to see both teams at full strength Something I found interesting when looking at the numbers from the first two meetings: not a single Husker had a double-double in either match. Not even Nicklin - and she has 20+ on the season. Maybe it wasn’t the offense that was lacking in those games. Maybe it was the defense. And four of those seven sets were deuce that Wisconsin won. If Nebraska’s defense and offense are both effective tonight, Nebraska can take this one.

They would try Sun at left first.

Final match of Lauren and Lexi. Probably the same for Kayla too and maybe Nicklin and Callie. I’m already gonna miss all of them especially Lauren’s slides. I’m not ready 😭💔💔
