At least with Utah they’ll get to face Drew’s… Maybe they can teach Arizona State how to pass poor Drews. That’s gonna be a hard match to watch. I feel like she’ll put down like 25 kills and they will still get swept

I don't disagree with you but this is also the problem with college sports and student athletes not willing to compete for playing time. They want it handed to them. If you're on a scholie then do your work. Perfect example is the backup qb from Nebraska that transferred to Louisville because he was #2 and then is leaving Louisville even before the season starts because the starting job isn't being handed to him. I blame parents for a lot of this mess in college sports and the NCAA has made it too easy to transfer. This is also a huge issue in Nebraska HS sports as well, too easy to transfer. I see your point, but I cannot fault one for seeking better options elsewhere. Especially if they are 2nd string behind a classmate with same or more remainnng eligibilty. Or if they are not finding a good fit at their present school. Or just see better opportunities elsewhere. Better to transfer than remain as an unhappy team member IMO. Nothing wrong with a person trying to optimize their opportunities. In fact that was good advice I received mid-career (not athletics). You need to make decisions on what is best for your career and happiness. Just the way things are IMO. Hate to see them go, but sometimes it is for the best for all. I dont begrudge transfers. Wish the the best. But they’re not behind anyone yet. I could see after next season if your odd man out, but competitors compete and if their worth a lick as players and people they’ll battle it out.

The listing for the Illinois match on 10/16 is confusing. It's shown as a "Home" match in the 3rd column, but the location is listed as Champaign, Illinois. Since there's an away match with Illinois listed on 11/4, it's probably safe to assume the 10/16 match is in fact a home match to be played in Lincoln.

The schedule was a litle underwhelming but it is what it is.

I'm not impressed with the non-con schedule. The one good thing for Nebraska residents is that with so many matches being held in Nebraska, we might get a lot of matches on TV by NET. Stanford, Louisville, Creighton ?

Stanford, Louisville, Creighton ? The three matches should be good, but compared to many seasons they are not the best.
In the past, most if not all matches held in Nebraska are televised by NET if not picked up by another network. Even if the match is streamed on BTN+ the NET broadcast is used for the BTN+ stream. Stanford is the only non-con match not held in the state.

Stanford, Louisville, Creighton ? I think it's a great schedule if the goal is simply a Top 16 seed. Top 4? Not sure. I still think the jury is out on Stanford, while many others disagree on that.

Top 16 is good enough for me. The Huskers might have to win the B1G championship to get into the top 4.

It’s a schedule I believe can get them a top 4 seed. It’s also important to note this scheduled was made thinking they’d be replacing Stivrins and Sun putting multiple freshman or new starters on the court. This schedule is really no different than it ever is and they’ve always been highly seeded.

I just realized that Georgia is on the schedule for the Stivrins reunion. Duh. I could add that Arizona State has a fun tie-in, too. The Sun Devils are adding Allie Gray to the roster this year. High school teammate of Lindsay Krause and club teammate of Rylee Gray (no relation).

There are 6 new freshman on the team. The early schedule may provide them playing time, that may prove valuable as the season proceeds. Think the schedule may make sense for this team.

I found my self zooming in on Georgia, hoping for Sivrins sister hints. Silly me looking for Tea on a Kool-Aid pack.
