I was really surprised by how good Chaz defended the backrow. Do you think he will be an upgrade when Colton leaves? He definitely appears to be in position to be more terminal than Colton was, but the difference is Chaz will now be looked to take a leadership role. Cowell was always playing a supportive role as an attacker. But Cowell is amazing at serve receive. I think Chaz has potential to be great, buy he is no where near Colton in Serve receive, but he is closing the gap.

What helped Chaz was that he faced BYU and Gabi, in the 2nd match last year. He knew what to expect. It was not a surprise to him.

Hawaii Rainbow Warriors will not need Hawaiian Air to fly them back to Hawaii. The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors will just use the Seniors, with Chaz as the Pilot and Jakob as the Navigator. Chaz to Control Tower, ready for Take-Off, FLYING HIGH!!!!!

I think even Colton would admit he was no where near where Chaz is now during his second year in the program but Colton had a huge drive to get better. Hope Chaz does as well.

The Great Players, Rado, Pat, Colton, and Gage rise to the occasion, while the supposedly great players Gabi, and the rest of the BYU players fade away into not so great status.

A mercifully short match. Maybe someone else has mentioned it, but Garcia looked pissed the whole match. I'm glad Hawaii took care of business because I like their unis and hate the BYU ones that look as if they were bought on discount at an Ogden KMart. Anyway, Koa anuenue maika'i loa!

Galloway was someone I thought would be a glaring liability tonight, especially since he didn’t play so well vs. UCSB on Thursday, and the fact that he had trouble with GGF’s serves last year, but one thing is for certain he’s a gamer! He’s one of those players who seem to thrive in big games. We’ll see how his passing progresses during the next couple years, and how much of an offensive weapon he’ll be as he potentially becomes the go-to player for the team. But, he’s definitely the kind of player you want starting in big matches!

Because how BYU got easily swept, I believe if BYU was in the BW this season, they'd be behind Hawaii, UCSB and LBSU or 3rd place. I don't believe BYU had an off night or never shown up. I believe BYU just simply lost to a better team (Hawaii).

Just found out that the team did the “Haka” in the locker room before the match and sang Hawai’i Pono’i after the win. What a way to represent!!!

From the very start of the season, the Seniors have stated they had only one Goal, for the reason they all returned, that is to win a National Championship, bring the Title home to the Hawaii people. They got the rest of the team to buy in to that goal. The Seniors, and the rest of the Hawaii Rainbow Warrior players, have attend that goal. Brought the National Championship Title home to the Hawaii People.
