I hate how they also talk about world leading outdoor times at NCAAs when the pros are literally just starting their seasons, and nobody is trying to peak yet.

LOL Jill is just.....the worst announcer.
The hurdlers really don't give a %*$# what the bubble time is to qualify. They literally aren't able to time it out mid-race given it'll likely come down to hundredths of a second. . They're just trying to get Top 2 or run the fastest they can if they aren't.
Arkansas was expecting 5+ points in the 100h with possibility to burst up higher... but didn't qualify anyone through. Cockrell from USC looked damn good in her heat challenging Marshall - she sure doesn't look like a 400H specialist there.

I refuse to believe that there isn't a more qualified announcer than Jill Montgomery out there. She's quickly approaching Joe "mute button" Buck territory. I thought the commentator that they had for cross country nationals, Carrie Tollefson, did a good job. They should have brought her back for outdoors.

Tonight is mostly prelims for the women. Men's finals tomorrow and women's finals on Saturday. |

What c4 said, though there are individual titles (and team points) on the line tonight in the women's field events, women's 10k, and men's decathlon. |

SC gets 3 into the 400 finals, incl. top 2 times (though Mu let off given she wasn't challenged in her heat). Surprised MacDonald from Bama and Rodney from UCLA didn't make it through.
