Watching the Maya Moore 30 fo 30 show, which so far is pretty interesting, and suddenly there is Bob Kroll, head of the Minneapolis police union making another negative contribution to TC life.
That guy made a huge negative contribution to Minneapolis of his life.

I know this is a couple years ago, but I have to add it to my list of things Black people in America get harassed by other American citizens or police for.
*Picking up trash outside their own dormitory*.
The officer resigned, though. He also conveniently turned the audio off his bodycam when he was told he was in the wrong essentially and to let it go.

Definitely not how I would have handled things if I were the Officer or the student.

Anyway, here's an incident this past week that is even more in line with 'white privilege'. The irony is that when racism is complained about -- a lot of ignorant people will say they are "playing the victim". Yet, we see time and time again, racist white people end up crying or playing the victim after they show their ignorant a$$es. (Citation 1: BBQ Becky)

Okay I missed what the White woman did or said that was racist. At least you're 0 for 2 on missing (or ignoring) the point. That video, as stated, was an exemplification of white privilege.

You labeled (mistakenly?) that woman as being racist. I agree that video does show white privilege. It doesn’t show the white woman to be racist, unless I missed something she said or did that was racist.

I agree that video does show white privilege. It doesn’t show the white woman to be racist, unless I missed something she said or did that was racist. Actually, I didn't explicitly say that woman was. Exact quote: "Yet, we see time and time again, racist white people end up crying or playing the victim after they show their ignorant a$$es. (Citation 1: BBQ Becky)" If I was using this woman as an example of that, I wouldn't have to use BBQ Becky as Citation 1. She'd be citation 2. This woman's behavior though, whether she is racist or not, I wouldn't be surprised though, does show similarities to other situations of blatant racism and the ironic point that people claim others to play the victim re: racism, which was the point in drawing that parallel. One could also argue using white privilege is perpetuating racism itself, and the shoe would fit in that case. But not the discussion or point here.

I may have mistaken your intent but when you talk about racist people crying and then show a woman crying during an altercation gives off the impression that you are labeling that woman as racist. My bad for missing your expressed intent.
