Bernardinho for LA 2028!!! He will be France head coach for Paris 2024, and another poster mentioned that with auto bid, he'll be able to build up the french roster without having to worry about qualification (not a minor issue in the CEV). He can do the same with the USA for LA 2028. Also, he has openly said he wishes to experience coaching and living in the US.
If the greatest men's coach ever expresses a desire to coach in the US and USA volleyball doesn't explore this opportunity, some serious questions need to be answered.

I think an international coach for the Men's team would be interesting....shake things up more than bit. What about Lang Ping? Already knows USAV (well--knows what it was). seemingly wants to move to the USA.

Lang Ping has lived it and might not want to put up with it again.
Rezende could be pretty epic.
I still think when John Speraw is no longer the coach (whenever that time comes), we need to look at Luka Slabe.

He speaks English well and would light a fire under the team. Pipe dream, but another great name.

dan friend would be wild... he has lots of USAV experience
i believe the next coach for the men need to not be a current NCAA head coach... up the salary for USAV and have them coach year around.
speraw was doing both at the same time and it turned out horribly.
if any NCAA coach gets the job, they need to force them to step down from their NCAA post.

Why would he want to come to the Men's team?

Speraw needs to go. He shows me nothing. This Olympics was a dud. 4 names that could do better. 1) Joe Trinsey is a genius. He is what I would call a revolutionary. 2) Scott Wong knows the game and gets it. He consistently creates a product better than the sum of the parts. 3) David Kniffin. International playing experience. Knows how to win at high level men's ball. Runs a great program. He's as good as they come. 4) Mauro Grasso was the top coach in the NVA US Pro League. Taking a bunch of guys and figuring out how to get them better throughout the season. He knows how to get the best out of players.

I’ll have three of whatever you’re drinking Sounds fun. 1 - I like Joe but has he even been a Head Coach 2 - the only coach being hired from Pepperdine is Hunt 3 - Kniff’s program is a mess. He can’t afford to split time or attention. 4 - Ok I concede Grasso is cool.

Scott Wong is the 3rd best women's coach at his own University.
