DePauw quickly defeated the Allegheny Alligators 3-0.
In the next round I will boldly predict that they will upset the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops

RIT coughs up a 2-0 lead and falls in five at home to St. Lawrence in the Liberty League semifinals. I'm thinking that's the season for the Tigers. That's rough.

Carnegie Mellon defeats Wash U St Louis in five sets by the scores of 25-18, 25-14, 14-25, 11-25, 15-11 😳 to end the Bears season in terms of making the NCAA tournament. First time WUSTL is not in the field since 1987 🤯 Very ironic given Bears are hosting the Final 8 😬 November 18-20.

It would have been a fun exercise to tell a Wash U fan, "Your going to go 3-1 in California against UT Dallas, St. Bens, Cal Lu and CMS - how's your season going to go?"

They were actually looking good in my simulations. But they will probably now be dropped in the rankings behind a team with no chance and be blocked. Could be an o-fer for region 3.

Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops declawed the DePauw Tigers in 3, and only venture farther into the Tiger den with the Wittenberg Tigers in the semifinals.

Saturday Morning projections. I assumed all the A bids, half of them have an easy trade off if it comes out differently. I ran 20 scenarios and these 20 schools were way ahead. The only other close school at 21st was Birmingham-Southern at 55%. After that, there were 4 schools each picked once in 20 passes. I am surprised that RIT has stayed this strong. Will the committee really give the NESCAC 4 bids? 20 scenarios school | times | ave rnd | pcnt |
