What Americans 🇺🇸 play in China? Are there any VB teams/leagues in Taiwan 🇹🇼 or just in the PRC? I think its just Jordan playing in Shanghai There is a Taiwanese (?) league.... Berekley Oblad is playing there |

Larson is in Shanghai, but other than that I don't know.

anyone interesting playing? Zheng Yixin (3, Fujian) is pretty.... if that's your kind of "interesting" lol.
Zhuang Yushan (8, Fujian) was promising (a starter on the junior team) but got injured in set 1.
Otherwise, no. Shanghai (along with Guangdong) have byes, and the interesting matches (Jiangsu-Liaoning, Tianjin-Shandong) happen at 5am and 7am Eastern which I'm not getting up for (and if you're in central, I doubt you are getting up for that either). Might catch some highlights later.
Shenzhen (3am) might be worth watching for the libero (who got usurped by Ni Feifan in Jiangsu) and Tijana's sister, Dajana Boskovic.

Zhu Ting (surgery)
Zhang Changning (surgery)
Yan Ni (retired)
Lin Li (retired)
Liu Xiaotong (retired)
Yuan Xinyue (taking a break for school)
Not to mention other domestic veterans who retired after the National Games.

A lot of NT players aren't playing this season which affects the level of the league. Zhu Ting (surgery) Zhang Changning (surgery) Yan Ni (retired) Lin Li (retired) Liu Xiaotong (retired) Yuan Xinyue (taking a break for school) Not to mention other domestic veterans who retired after the National Games. Yuan Xinyue is supposed to play some stage as well... but yeah agreed that the level of the league is not great.
The fact it's a month and a half long doesn't help either.

Given a choice, they'd probably forego that given everything's geared towards the NT and the "national honor". one weird country (I love the Chinese people though)! |

The market value of their endorsements went way up after Rio 2016. I don't blame that thinking. And it's the main/popular NT players that got most of it (Zhu, Zhang, Ding [post 2019], Hui) |
