On a neutral court, I would give Wisconsin the tiniest of edges so on their home court the slight edge goes to the Badgers. Bouncing between Badgers in 4 or Badgers in 5. In the intangible category, Wisconsin needs this match more than the Gophers. If the Badgers win, it still puts both teams in the middle of the battle for the conference championship. If the Badgers lose, they no longer are favorites to win the conference and it gives the Gophers a boost with a win in their expected toughest road contest. So if Wisconsin loses this game, does that leave Purdue the only team in the B1G to possibly receive a top seed?

They also have stand out non conference wins this season, unlike then.

One update to starting lineups, 99% sure Myers will be starting over Rubright, she has most of the season. Have you noticed any key differences between the three that make the other two > to Rubright? I haven’t noticed much differences from what I’ve seen on an eye test alone. I’m kind of surprised both Myers and Rubright haven’t been starting.

Husemann and Myers (M1) should continue to be the starting middles this season.

Wisconsin is known as the Badger State because the lead miners who first came to the area in the 1820s didn’t have housing, so they had to over-winter “like badgers,” by digging homes into the sides of hills.
Minnesota got its nickname of the Gopher State in 1857, when a political cartoon portrayed the legislature as being commandeered by shady railroad barons, which it depicted as striped gophers.

The Minnesota block has come along quite nicely. Here's hoping that continues tomorrow night vs Wisconsin.
Wisconsin has the setting and serving edge and Minnesota the blocking and, lately, passing/digging edge. I also feel Minnesota is also becoming a very good OOS hitting team.
With a healthy starting lineup for both teams, this should be another fun and exciting match to watch.

It is unlikely that the conference will not get a Top 4 seed. This really isn't a bad year to end up as a 6 or 7 seed though. One of those "prove it to me in December" scenarios.
