Something didn't seem right with Rutgers on Saturday night in Ann Arbor. Balyko sat out the entire match although she was dressed and on the sidelines. The team was completely out of it; I know it's Rutgers and all but they were definitely not at 100%.

Looks like it counts as a dub for the Gophers? Or Emily has it backwards. Unless there was a subsequent policy announced after the one I posted the link to, I think she has it wrong.

Well you certainly hope everyone at Rutgers gets healthy soon, that's the biggest thing here.
I do wonder with this match going in as a forfeit win for standings purposes, is it recorded as a win for RPI purposes? Surely it would have to still count as an RPI win (including the impact of Rutgers in SOS) unless there's going to be a discrepancy between conference standings the NCAA's official record for the team.

Minnesota's announcement of the cancellation says it is a win for Minnesota. So while I'd like to see a Big Ten account or official say that, it is likely a Minn win (as it almost certainly would have been, anyway).

The email from the Gophers specifically says that Rutgers has forfeited. Not sure how why it would be treated differently from that.

Could be even something like food poisoning or something like that.

Games not played never count to the NCAA for selection/seeding/RPI, regardless of reason. It's up to the league to decide how it impacts conference standings. Looks like the Big Ten is calling it a forfeit, but it'll still be a "no contest" to the NCAA.

Without checking any schedules, since I'm guessing the answer is likely "no chance":
think they'd entertain something even like a joint practice and/or scrimmage with a local-ish opponent? St Thomas, Concordia St Paul, Iowa State, Dakotas?
EDIT: nevermind this, thought they didn't play again until a week from Sunday, doh!
