Without checking any schedules, since I'm guessing the answer is likely "no chance": think they'd entertain something even like a joint practice and/or scrimmage with a local-ish opponent? St Thomas, Concordia St Paul, Iowa State, Dakotas? If I were Hugh, I'd be happy with giving them the day off. One more day to fully prep for Wisconsin.

Whatever it is, here's hoping it's not something overly serious...and it's not something that's about to create problems for other teams/schools.
But the way the past 20+ months have gone, I'm not ready to put on my "Whee-it's-all-good-happy-time" hat just yet.

EDIT: I can't read a calendar, because I never learned how to read. Nevermind my entire asking. Doh!

Worth noting, Rutgers' schedule already shows it as a loss.

I would take the Scarlet Knight vs Goldie in a jousting competition. I've never seen Goldie on a horse for starters.

Since they have not yet cancelled their match on Saturday, appears to indicate that there is belief that there is the possibility of enough players recovering to allow them to play.

Worth noting, Rutgers' schedule already shows it as a loss. On bigten.org Standings it shows MN is 13-4 in conference so it is already recorded as a W there too.

What happens to Minnesota's RPI futures as a result? It goes up because of Rutgers' W-L?
Probably too late and not something I could see Hugh doing, but could the Gophers theoretically schedule a bubble mid-major with a good W-L for next week?

It's Senior night for the Huskers too but unlike Minnesota, they do not have another home conference match after that.

Wow, curious what the RPI impact of this will be - could be very convenient for Minnesota in the end.

This doesn’t make sense. How can it NOT affect RPI? Either it counts as a win and affects the RPI or doesn’t count at all which affects the RPI.
