I'm thankful we're likely only a few days away from the full schedule being released and especially eager to see what the Illini are doing that first weekend. Monitoring the 2022 D1 Schedules thread has yet to reveal who we're playing. Fingers crossed we get a home tourney! |

I hope pre-season is exciting enough to get me back on the train….ew need some excitement on this thread, it feels like our fan base is losing steam!

There is a terrific 10 minute you tube video of Taylor de Boer posted in March, 2022. If someone more tech savvy than me can post the video on this thread folks may feel better about our future outside hitters. She and Lily Barry give me confidence in the future of Illini volleyball.

Brutal stretch in the middle of the season. But, I am excited to see NEB, Minn, Wisc at Huff. Win or Lose, seeing some potential future Olympians/Pros is always a treat.

In a newspaper interview Lily Barry mentioned she received over a hundred texts at midnight June 15. Crazy. Of course some coaches must believe there are recruits who think “they didn’t contact me right at midnight, they must not care, no way I’ll attend there.”
